Previously he had left room between his towers to place the farms. In reality it was a terrible place to build a farm. Very inconvenient access and the farms themselves would prevent him from further developing any defenses there.

However, his mission objectives didn't say he had to win. All he had to do was survive and have six farms at the same time. Therefore the best place for the farms was going to be right in the middle of his towers.

There they would be inside the attack range of said towers. So that if Julia attacked the farms he could sit there with his grunts and towers and just whale on her crushers. And Julia would have to attack the farms, because she knew that he would win his objective if they were successfully built.

"Julia_43, you waited too long. Eat my dust."

So saying Jason ran out from within the protection of his own towers and sprinted into the woods on foot.

"What are you doing dumb ass. Lol!"

Julia sent him a chat mocking his stupidity.

"If my calculations are correct my five towers, six grunts, and a hero will be able to hold out."

Jason shot back, justifying his actions.

"Twenty crushers? FU!!"

Her chat message was furious. He could only hope she wasn't faking her anger. Twenty more crushers appeared at the edge of the forest.

Jason was thinking that he could distract two of those crushers. Surely Julia would send two crushers to chase after him. But instead of just two all twenty of the newly arrived crushers turned and dashed towards him.

He looked to Captain, who looked up from the methodical wielding of his mace and caught Jason's eye. Jason threw up an open hand that he turned into a pointing finger. Pointing back at Captain he turned and ran deeper into the trees.

Captain shrugged like he was over it and went back to crushing the crushers. Still he thought, that he wouldn't be able to last forever. Not if the enemy player could send groups of twenty crushers every five minutes. They would be overwhelmed in ten maybe twenty max.

Jason ran. He knew that the crushers had a dash. While dashing they were much faster than him. But if he was out of their dash range they couldn't keep up with him. He knew this because he had already beaten crushers in a race today.

Still he couldn't slack off. He had to maintain a certain lead or risk falling within the dash range. It was okay though. He was used to running and had some confidence in his own ability. Checking back at his makeshift base using his heads up display he saw that his peons had collected enough gold to train more grunts. He had to pump those out. And if he had some gold to spare he had to build another tower.

Trying to regulate his breathing he ran through the forest. He had a plan here to. Somewhere here was Julia's base. Realistically he couldn't do much to her himself. But the more time and focus she spent on him the less she would be spending worrying about Captain and those farms.

So he ran through the woods trying to navigate a parallel path to how she was sending reinforcements. Succeeding so far he decided to risk his luck again.

"You know, I am faster than your crushers. Did you know that?"

"Shut up you mother F!"

"Hahaha. Your only hope is to set up an ambush. You know."

Jason gave her the method to kill him. But he wasn't too worried. For her to set up a successful ambush she would really have to plan and send troops out ahead of him. That would take time and resources. What he actually thought she would do was train up some spitters. The spitters were faster than him and all she would have to do was tell them to chase him.
