I've not made an author's note this like before, but I'm writing this to give warning for the content of this story. I mentioned this in the story description, but I developed this story as a deconstruction of a common theme I've read in Yaoi that has always bothered me; dubious consent and rape. I have read an appalling number of stories and manga where rape has been used an expression of love. In more disturbing cases, I have seen rape be the catalyst for two characters to become a couple. This story came about initially as my own silent protest to how often I have seen this be used in Yaoi. Such a theme I feel is extremely harmful to be portrayed in any way positively.
So as you can imagine, rape is a central theme of this story but I will say right now that it will not be described here. Not only per the guidelines of this website but because I wouldn't ever want to write such a thing. But I wanted to let you the reader know the contents of this story before you proceed any further.
