"Can I ask you a question?" Aidan asked Martin, which broke down the silence around them.

Pareho silang nasa opisina niya at tahimik. May binabasang dokumento tungkol sa partnership nila sa mga Japanese investors ng Fritzgibbons Corporations at Acceleron.

"If you will asked me about these documents, I haven't done reading the entire document." Marahas na huminga ang pinsan niya at niluwangan ang suot na necktie.

"Rafi summarize it for me. Do you want to read mine?" Mayabang niyang alok sa pinsan na dahilan ng pagsimangot nito. "Going back to my question, Martin it's about proposals. How did you do it with your ex-girlfriends?"

"Magpo-propose ka? Kay Sierra? Wait, bakit ngayon lang? Tama naman ito pero magpo-propose palang siya at plano pa nga lang ang lahat. Masyadong advance si Martin pero hinayaan niya at binitawan ang hawak na papel saka sumama dito palabas ng opisina. Binilinan niya si Rafi na ikansela ang mga lakad dahil mukhang magtatagal sila sa bilihan ng singsing. Knowing himself, he's too picky and particular to what's best for Sierra's finger.

Matamang tiningnan ni Aidan ang singsing bago binalingan si Martin.

"If you see Sierra happy wearing that ring, go for it. She been through a lot, and having the intention to marry her is the greatest reward, perhaps a dream come true for Sierra."

"Do you think Sierra will say yes to my proposal if I buy this ring?"

"Whatever her answer, Aidan, it shouldn't stop you from buying this ring."

"She's practical and hates me for buying her expensive gifts."

"This isn't a usual gift, man. It's a promise of love you're willing to take a right before God." Tumango-tango siya at tinapik naman nito ang kanyang balikat.

"I will buy this ring," he said, then smiled.

Mabilis na lumakad si Sierra palabas ng cubicle niya at tumungo sa creative department. Gusto niya malaman kung ano na update sa ginagawa nitong presentation deck na pinagpuyatan nila kagabi. Dito na nga siya sa kumpanya natulog kagabi at naligo kaninang umaga. Dinalhan lang siya ni Aidan ng damit at ito rin ang nag-alaga kay Zeke matapos sunduin sa bahay nila.
