A sprinkle of spice is added to this one-shot. Please move onto something else if you're uncomfortable or don't like this type of content.

(Smut/Lemon isn't involved, but there will be intense kissing and/or touching.)

The wooden tables around you are occupied with colorful bodies, some swaying mindlessly, as they loudly laugh and talk over one another, their voices drowning out the bard's voice beside you.

Ah, right... he was speaking, wasn't he? You turn to him.

"Yoo hoo...! (Y/N)?" Venti tilts his head and leans forward in his bar stool. "Is something on your mind?"

Right when he asks that, you feel your head getting lighter and hazier. Nothing overly unpleasant, but it's a strange and fuzzy feeling. Shutting your eyes, you wave his question off and down the rest of the Dandelion Wine.

"Hehe, feel free to drink more! All's on me. Even the strongest apples need a proper break," he says, signaling for Charles to refill your glass.

Despite it being your first time drinking alcohol, you're able to take in a lot more than you thought, though you're certain you've reached the stage of tipsy, if not drunk, after finishing this third glass.

Tonight's celebration is intended to congratulate you on doing an excellent job at your recent work as a member of the Knights of Favonius. You've never had much of an interest in tasting alcohol, but both Venti and Kaeya insisted to try it at least once for the great quality and taste.

And so here you are, taking careful sips from your fourth glass of Dandelion Wine.

By now, Angel's Share is almost void of customers. One table still has a drunk couple who are attempting to get out of their seats—the two laughing at nothing in particular as they're clearly struggling to even stand up properly without wobbling.

"Charles, mind lending a hand?" Diluc calls for the bartender as he's holding the woman steady by having her arm wrapped around his shoulder.

Charles excuses himself, speed walking over to hold up the man. You and Venti watch as the group leaves out the door, with Diluc looking over his shoulder to let you two know he will be back soon.

"Now it's all nice and quiet, hm?" The bard hums in thought.

You glance over at the male who has a slightly flushed face and a lazy smile. An elbow is on the counter, his arm propped up, as his chin is resting in the palm of his hand. He must have noticed your staring, because he faces you shortly after.

"So, what's your first impression of Dandelion Wine? A delightful drink, isn't it?" he asks, leaning forward once more in his stool.

For some reason though, and it may be the alcohol talking, but you have a sudden urge to grab him and kiss him.

You slowly reach out and brush a thumb across his lips. He flinches, eyes widened, but he doesn't say nor do anything else, so you take your other hand and pull him closer to you, so close that he's now in your arms.

"(Y/N)..." he murmurs, averting his gaze to the side.

Your heart flutters at his red face, his lips parted as if he wants to say something but is unable to. You bring your face closer to his and kiss him, pulling back just enough to see his expression.

Venti immediately touches his lips and stumbles over his words, lowering his head and turning away from your amused expression. His reaction only makes you want to tease him further.

Now, how far will you go...?

Lips pressed against his neck, you leave gentle kisses along the skin, receiving pleasant sounds of surprised gasps and cute, needy whimpers. His body naturally leans into you, as if he's unconsciously asking for more, and he tightly holds onto your shirt.

You grin and bite him gently, wanting to hear more from the male. As much as you adore a talkative Venti from earlier, one who enjoys finding various topics of interest to prolong the conversation, you don't mind hearing such indications of pleasure and desperation—feeling his trembling body against yours; his panting and squirming.

"Ngh... a-ah..."

Under the glow of the tavern lights, you continue trailing a mixture of hot kisses and gentle bites along his neck, all while your tongue carefully brushes across the red marks. Venti continues to moan, struggling to keep his voice in, as his hands and body use you for support to keep stable without falling to the floor.

He must be desperate for more of your touch and warmth, because you start to feel his delicate fingers moving down your body, lifting under your shirt, and...

The cold wind from the opened door interrupts your session, and you move away from Venti slowly, giving a chaste kiss on his forehead. He stares at you with half-lidded eyes, still breathless.

"As expected of the Knights of Favonius..." Diluc mutters from the doorway, walking over to separate you two. He pushes Venti down in his stool and sighs.

"You," he continues in your direction, "you're drunk, so it's best that I interfere to avoid anything more from occurring."

Then, he shifts his attention to Venti, gaze narrowing in disapproval. "Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe you are drunk. You should have known better and stopped them, but you let your desires take over your rationality instead."

The red-haired male's scoldings are falling onto deaf ears, considering the bard is simply focusing on your sleeping face, observing the way your cheek is resting against the bar counter. He smiles warmly, gazing at you in adoration.

I finally decided to rewrite and republish this one-shot because I accidentally erased the original one while I was half asleep (note to self: stop writing while you're half asleep lol). So for those of you who read the original one and remember it, this version is pretty different since I made it a lot shorter.
