Soft ringing of bells resonate throughout the library as you push open the wooden door. Lisa glances up from her book and greets you with a small smile and a quiet "hello" before continuing her reading.

You nestle into a seat and take out all the study materials you'll be needing for today's solo study session: notebooks filled with colorful notes and many textbooks.

You haven't even started studying yet but already feel exhausted just by looking at the materials on the table.

Just as you're about to flip open your notebook, an intoxicating scent of lavender and vanilla surrounds you, causing your attention to shift to the female in front of you.

"L-Lisa...! Hi..." you stumble and smile sheepishly.

Your mind immediately overflows with possibilities. Why is she here? Did you forget to return a book or something? You're pretty sure you returned it last week.

Every citizen in Mondstadt knows how terrifying Lisa can get when it comes to overdue or lost books. You certainly don't want to be a victim.

"Don't look so surprised." She chuckles with a gloved hand over her lips. "You aren't in trouble, so no need to worry."

"Then... do you need help with anything?"

"Oh, no. Thank you for asking. I'm here because..." she trails off, her emerald green eyes gazing into yours as she leans across the table slowly, "...I wanted to see what my cutie is up to."

"O-Oh, um...! I'm just studying..." you manage to say and immediately break eye contact.

For the librarian to be teasing you isn't new. Your friend Amber strongly believes that Lisa has taken an interest in you, but you find such a possibility to be inane.

"Mind if I sit here with you?" Lisa asks.

You simply nod and go back to focusing on your notes. Perhaps the colors of the words can serve as a distraction.

"Alchemy, I see..." her melodious voice suddenly reaches close to your ears.

You yelp and turn your head to see the female sitting beside you, eyes focused on your notes. She notices your surprise and tilts her head, asking what's wrong.

"I thought you were going to sit across from me, not next to me..."

Lisa rests her elbow on the table and props an arm up, plopping her chin in the palm of her hand. She turns to you with a smirk. "Oh? Do you not like me sitting next to you?"

"It's not that I don't like it. I... don't mind..." you mumble and turn away again.

"Good. I like being close to you."

You dip your head down out of sheer embarrassment and pretend scribbling down some notes. Has the librarian always been this flirtatious toward you? You can't recall at this moment. It's not like your brain can, anyhow; it's clouding with solely thoughts of her—how she's so close to you, so close that her pleasant perfume of lavender and vanilla is all you can focus on.
