I was strolling through Olympus hands in my blue hoodie's pockets whistling along the road. I stopped at Athena's palace. It was beautiful with 5 stories, a beautiful garden and two fountains spewing forth olive oil.
"Wow this is awesome." I thought. I started walking forward with nervousness settling in my stomach. I knocked on the 10 foot olive wood doors with a silver owl knocker. I heard the door open and saw Athena's stormy gray eyes boring into mine.
"What do you want, sea scum!!" She nearly yelled at me.
"I want to know if I can have Annabeth's hand in marriage." I said nervously, heart in my throat.
"What no!", Athena screeched loudly!!! my heart was in my throat and I felt like bolting."
"Please Athena, I know that she is your favorite daughter, but I will take care of her!" I shouted "I will do anything."
Athena paused and looked at me. She started mumbling to herself. "There's one thing you can do. go on a quest for me and if you complete that Quest Within a month you will be able to marry Annabeth. "
"Yes yes what is it I'll do everything to marry Annabeth? "
She gave me an evil grin.
"The one thing you have to do is defeat Ladon" I saw her evil smirk.
"You want me to defeat LADON!!!" I shouted. Grim determination set in. After all, my fatal flaw was loyalty.
"Fine, I will do anything for Annabeth." I told Athena. She looked shocked and a newfound respect replaced her hatred of sea spawn.
"Okay you have till next month bring me 10 golden apples as proof." Athena said then shut the door on me. I nodded and left her palace grounds jogging all the way to the elevator of Olympus. What am I getting myself into?
