I nodded, my gaze shifting to the ground.

"What's his bail?"

"I'm not sure, but he goes to court tomorrow."
I leaned against the brick wall.

"I'll notify the boss—you should really go rest...or something."
He trailed off.

"Alright, thanks Inui."
I sighed as I exited the alleyway, tucking my hands into my jacket.

We only had a few interactions in the past, and despite the fact that he was only 2 years older than me, it seemed only right to inform him of my brother's current status, given that they were both in the Black Dragons together.

"You didn't listen when I told you not to wait for me, ugh."
I complained indignantly at the blonde.

"Who was that?"
Takemichi inquired, cocking his head to one side in interest.

"Just a buddy of my brothers."
I retorted sarcastically as we strolled along the sidewalk.

"I have to stop at my place."
I spoke as I fixed my eyes on him.
He nodded while humming.

We walked on for some minutes,
Till we reached my apartment building at last.
'haven't come here since that night...'

"Takemichi, you've been following me for the past few days, would you please just go rest already."
I huffed.

"I know, but-"

"And ugh, go shower dude!"
I dramatically pinched my nose while sticking my tongue out.

"Am I really that smelly?"
He raised the collar of his shirt to his nose and sniffed it.

"Alright, I suppose that I will check up on you in about a hour."
He announced as he tucked his hands into his pockets.

"Oh and Takemichi."
He stops midway.

"Hm?"
He cocks his head towards me.

"Thanks for everything."
His eyes enlarged, as he pursed his lips.
he quickly shook his head sweeping away any thought.

"I—uh—It's no problem [Name]!"
He stuttered out rather louder than anticipated, I returned him with a small smile.

"Go on, I'll crash at your place later, after I'm done cleaning."
He gave me a serious look as he firmly nodded, before walking away.
