LIGHT WAS more than satisfied with his father decision, the old man appealed because he thinks that it was unfair but when the other Engineers heard the news, sunod sunod ang complaints na natanggap ni Xyria sa office niya and she have no choice but to fired him.

Thanks to that, mas marami siyang natutuhan dahil ang Uncle Khairus niya ang humawak sa project na naiwan ni tanda. Ganoon din si Castiel.

Their project ended pretty fast, and the next project was handed to him. Light started building house, just like how his sister started. Hindi mawala ang ngisi sa mga labi niya nang makauwi siya sa bahay at sumalubong sa kanya si Vyel.

She was wearing a cute apron, medyo magulo pa ang buhok nito.

"Welcome home!" Vyel cheerfully said.

Light smiled widely and spread his arms, tumawa lang si Vyel at yumakap sa kanya.

"Guess what?" Excited na sabi niya rito.

Vyel looked up at him, "you're happy..." pansin nito sa kanya.

"Well, it wasn't big but this is going to be my first ever project!" Nakangisi na sagot niya.

"Really?! Congratulations, babi!" Vyel tiptoed to kiss his lips. "We should celebrate, come here, sakto nagluto ako!"

Hinila siya nito papunta sa kusina at iginiya paupo sa upuan, his heart was full as he watched his partner moves around the kitchen, preparing their dinner. Light smiled when Vyel prepared a pork menudo, her favorite. They're not a good cook, but Vyel can cook her favorite menudo with her eyes covered.

"I missed this!" Light happily said.

Agad siyang nagsandok ng kanin, pagtapos ay ang pinggan naman ni Vyel ang nilagyan niya. Kapag ganito ang ulam nila, mas gusto niya ang magkamay, pero tinatamad na siyang tumayo at maghugas ng kamay so, he used spoon and fork instead.

"Yeah? Ngayon lang ako nagka time magluto niyan ulit." Vyel pouted her lips cutely.

Tumaas ang sulok ng labi niya, "it's fine, I know you're busy."

"Babi... I have something to tell you," umangat ang tingin ni Light kay Vyel. Bakas ang pag-aalinlangan sa magandang mukha nito.

"What is it?" He asked, preparing himself.

"We have a project in Batangas..." She trailed off.

"And?" He asked, waiting for more.

Light pressed his lips together. Alam na niya ang kasunod nito, his father and his Uncle Khairus were on this field since he was a kid, they tend to leave and go back home after months of working. Marahan siyang tumango at uminom ng tubig.

"Uuwi ka ba weekly or...?" Light asked.

Hindi siya binibigyan ng malalayong project ng kapatid niya dahil gusto nito na masulit muna niya ang araw na kasama si Vyel, but Vyel's company says no.

"Yes, of course!" Agad na sagot nito.

"Kailan ang alis mo kung ganoon?" He asked again, he wants to sulk in the corner, but it was her job. And she looks so happy with it, he can't say no to his lovely partner.

Nakagat ni Vyel ang pang-ibabang labi niya at nag-iwas ito ng tingin. "Bukas, babi..." Mahina na sagot nito.

Light almost rolled his eyes, kaya naman pala may pa menudo.

"Okay, ready na ba ang gamit mo?" Light asked again as he continues to eat. Might as well enjoy the menudo she prepared for him.

Umiling si Vyel sa kanya. "I am ready to turn down the offer, kung sakali na hindi ka papayag..."
