Not you, him

Since the party at the clubhouse Ronan and I had spent as much time as we could together but he refused to spend the night again. It was mildly infuriating when all I wanted was for him to stay the whole night so that I could wake up to him, he visited every morning so I saw him but it wasn't the same. I hated to admit that I'd gotten to the point where I craved his presence twenty four seven but I had, we were in our sickly honeymoon phase.

Even though we hadn't directly told Sierra about our relationship I was sure she knew, we wasn't hiding that we were together from her but just didn't know how to tell her. Ronan had wanted to tell her right away but I wasn't sure how she'd feel about it, I was worried it would confuse Noah too so Ronan told me it was my decision and I could tell her when i wanted something I planned to do soon.

However I have a feeling that today she might already know, today is Tahlias wedding and after trying to convince her that Ronan coming to the wedding would be a bad idea she invited him anyway. After she had text me she'd non stop hounded me into talking to her about him and as soon as I did she was adamant that he should be my plus one to her wedding, she'd also been upset that I couldn't walk down the aisle with my broken ankle. So once we'd come to the decision that I'd still be her maid of honour but be sat down before she walked the aisle with the other bridesmaids.

It was after we'd spoke she had somehow magically found Ronans phone number, he'd left my house on Sunday night to return on Monday morning with the news he was coming to Tahlias wedding as my plus one. At first I'd been angry with Tahlia that she'd gone against my wishes before Ronan had told me it was fine, I knew he could handle himself but I didn't want it to ruin Tahlias big day. Now I was just nervous, more nervous than I should've been than I already had been.

I'd been with Tahlia since this morning, she'd paid some hair stylists and makeup artists for the other bridesmaids and I. Tahlia was getting ready in the room next to us and I'd already had my make up done as well as my hair, all of the bridesmaids had and we were waiting on her. I was sat with Tahlias mom, the both of us watching Rylee as she argued with the hair stylist about the pins in her hair.

Tahlia had decided on dusty rose dresses, all of us wearing the same style apart from Rylee. It was made of silk material, something I wanted to rip beneath my fingers because if the California heat. It had thin spaghetti straps with a low cut front, the material was tight around my upper half, flowing looser from around my waist. The dress sported a split starting from the middle of my thigh, the length of the dress reached for the floor but had a little train. It was a beautiful dress.

Tahlia had decided that Lily, Rylee and a girl from the clubhouse I wasn't familiar with would be her bridesmaids. All of us were ready, holding our small bouquet of white and pink roses. Rylee was grumbling to herself as the hair stylist slid pins into her hair, a deep scowl on her face. She looked so much like Tahlia now she'd gotten older, I couldn't believe I'd watched her grow up and it made me think of Noah, how quickly he was growing up too.

The double doors in front of us swung open and my mouth hung wide at the sight of Tahlia. Her hair had been curled, styled in a half up, half down fashion framing her face elegantly. Her white dress was tight fitting, accentuating her curves elegantly. She was fighting tears as she looked at us, her mom quietly crying besides me. Rylee even looked mesmerised by the sight of her elder sister. "I'm getting married today." Tahlia breathed shakily and I pressed my hand to my mouth, trying to contain my happy tears.

The door knocked from the other side of the room and Lily rushed to open it, a mixture of nervousness and desire swirling in her eyes. It was only when she opened the door wider with a smile that I caught sight of Ronan for the first time today. I'd stayed the night at Tahlias, her last night as an unmarried woman, which meant I hadn't seen him since yesterday afternoon. He smiled at me, completely ignoring the others as his eyes found mine straight away.
