Rebecca switched off the lights, lying next to her emotionally distant husband, Michele. Her heart ached with unrequited love, and today, she couldn't even muster the strength for her nightly routine, feeling compelled to release the emotions bottled up within her.

Turning to see Michele sleeping, she couldn't help but remember his reserved demeanor and inability to reciprocate her love. Tears streamed down her cheeks as she moved closer to him, hugging him gently, finding solace in his embrace.

"I wish I could feel your warmth every day, but fate denies me that," Rebecca whispered, tears dampening Michele's shirt.

Unable to endure her pain any longer, she decided to pull away. Just as she did, she heard a soft voice say, "I can feel it."

Rebecca wiped her tears, and Michele, surprising her, pulled her close, wiping her cheeks and kissing her eyes. It marked the first time in their three-year marriage that Michele expressed such romantic tenderness, evoking fresh tears from Rebecca.

Michele, unable to see his wife in distress, held her in a tight embrace and suggested, "Wanna hear a story?"

In the comfort of his arms, Rebecca nodded. Michele began, "I love a girl," causing Rebecca to recoil. Yet, he held her tighter and continued, "She's mature, caring, and magnifique. My whole heart is for her."

Rebecca silently wept, but Michele, perceiving her pain, hurriedly added, "Everyone called her Rebecca, but I call her my love." Stunned, Rebecca gazed into his eyes. He continued, "I can't change. I've been cold since childhood due to a painful past. But I love you with all my heart." As he finished speaking, Rebecca kissed him, pouring all their pent-up love into a passionate embrace.
