Be Kind
Don't you find it weird how people can easily blackmail you with kindness?
Even when you don't ask, they are always offering
Even when you don't speak, they are always suggesting
The angels in cloaks, always ready to lend a hand
But nothing comes for free they say
The price??
Just as they have always done for you without you asking, they'd ask in return as well
The tool? Guilt
You'll feel too guilty to turn them down
Your consciousness won't even let you breathe peacefully
"Oh, but they've always been there for me"
"It'd be wrong to not help"
"I don't want to look bad"
On and on the thoughts come till you find yourself bending to their wills
And oh, it's not just once
They'll keep coming with the requests, more often than not
You can't say no because they're helping you as well
Without your permission as usual
Of course...
How strange it is that people can make of the most innocent things sinful
