People go numb

Doesn't mean they're dumb
I know the energy you crave
So good you consume it in a wave
I hope the anger doesn't consume you
It's not good holding in all that rage
A day will come & you'll feel lighter
A good chance to turn the page
I might not know a lot of things
But I know it gets better as you age
