"Now on the right here, we have the boys' dorms,"

I felt like I was living that mid-2000s teen movie moment, I mean dorms? That's cool.

"Wait so the teams not going to be staying together?" Charlie pipes up.

I hadn't even realized that.

"Oh no, boys and girls dorms are located in different buildings, we have a strictly no purpling rule at Eden Hall Academy"

"I mean no disrespect ma'am but that's not what we do, we've always stayed together and there have never been issues," Fulton says.

"Yeah we're basically like family" I add

"Bit of an incest family then" Averman whispers so that only we could hear.

That comment earned a few giggles, however, Mrs. Andrew seemed to be getting slightly annoyed.

"Rules are rules. You don't want to go breaking them or you could see yourselves having your scholarship revoked" She replied in in a certain authoritative tone.

We all backed off the topic, the last thing we wanted was to have our scholarships taken away from us. My parents couldn't afford to send me here so I would be shipped back home. I looked over at Charlie and gave him a tight-lipped smile, he returned the same look.

"Okay now that everyone is happy, we will leave you boys here to set up your dorm rooms. It is two boys per room. At Eden Hall Academy we require clean and tidy rooms, there will be monthly checks to make sure that they are kept up to standard. Girls follow me to your dorms."

Everyone just looked at each other, guess this is where we depart for a little while.

"Chop chop" Mrs Andrew called out from down the hall she had already started walking down.

We all quickly said our goodbyes before us girls walked towards Mrs Andrew. I knew it wouldn't be long until we girls somehow found our ways back to these dorms, if we weren't allowed to be in here I'm sure we would find a way to secretly do it.

"And just through this door is your dorm ladies. We've made special arrangements to have you all in one room"

We thank Mrs Andrew and she walks off leaving us out the front of our room.

"Oh yes I forgot, we are having an assembly at 3 pm sharp today to introduce our newest scholarship recipients to the rest of the school. Don't be late." She adds before exiting the building.

When she was well out of earshot I piped up,

"There is something stuck up her ass"

The girls laughed, it felt good to be back with my girls.

"Chop chop ladies," Connie said imitating Mrs Andrew.

"Oh and no purpling," I say making the same impression.

"Yeah that's a bit hard, especially when we have people like Charlie and Guy with yourselves"

River winks being her true smartass self. I softly punch her in the arm while Connie just blushes.

"Okay, shall we enter our new home?"

We nod and open the door. It was pretty spacious a private ensuite, four beds, and a small kitchen table with a microwave and whatnot.

"Well this is pretty grouse for a dorm room"

Connie Julie look at me.

"Great ...it means great" River explains while laughing.

Each bed had boxes stacked up with each of our belongings, all except one bed.

"Oh you have got to be kidding me, my stuff hasn't arrived yet," I say groaning.

"Guess you sleeping on a bare mattress tonight Aussie"

"Or you could go sleep with Charlie, he would be nice and warm to cuddle up with"

I death-stare them both,as they begin unpacking their bags.

"All jokes aside though am I supposed to sleep with nothing tonight? I mean River how has your stuff already gotten here but not mine?" I ask

River shrugs.

"Nah nah you can borrow some of our stuff, but I don't have much to give you I didn't bring that many blankets or stuff"

"Yeah same here"

"I will take a bath mat, anything to keep me slightly warm until my stuff gets here"

They flick me a blanket each before going back to unpack their stuff. I take a seat on my bed and watch them,

"Sooooo how was seeing Charlie for the first time in forever?" Connie asks.

"You know we have not passed the Bechdel test at any point since I've seen you guys"  I answer trying to slightly change the subject.

"I don't care at the root of everything I am a teenage girl who loves to gossip"

Yeah fair, I love a good gossip, not that I was going to admit that. I thump back on my bed and just begin ranting.

"I mean holy fuck, he got so hot over the past couple of months! Why didn't any of you warn me? And like when I saw him I just OMG I can't with him. I've always prided myself on being a feminist but right now I am giving into every single stereotype ever. I mean sure it was awkward at first but the way he just AGH"

Connie, River and Julie just simply laugh at me, I continue to lie on my bare bed and stare at the ceiling. Seconds later a pillow came flying into my view and landed on my face. I sit up and look at the two other girls.

"What was that for?!"

"Sorry Oz we just thought we should wake you up from the little world you had entered"

I throw the pillow back at them,

"we have half an hour until the assembly you guys should get ready," I say changing the subject.

It was good to be back with my girls.
