Growth spurt

An overwhelming amount of feelings washed over me as I saw him for the first time in what has felt like forever.

I'm so happy but at the same time freaked out, Charlie no longer looks like Charlie. He's taller, much taller I'm going to say like 6'1 now and his voice it's deeper. He's also a lot toner than what I remember, not that I'm complaining. It is scary how much someone can change in a few months, but again I'm not complaining.
I would first like to thank God for growth spirts, amen.

Charlie puts out his hands and pulls me up from the ground.

"Woah not even a hello to your long-distance boyfriend?" Charlie chuckles.

I snap out of my little daydream and went back to reality. I mean I was back here with my team, and for the first time in seven months, life felt good again.

"I missed you," Charlie said before wrapping me up in a hug,

"Feelings aren't mutual" I reply sarcastically.

This made Charlie deepen his hug, but I think he forgot that he was much stronger than me and toppled us both over.

I hit the ground with a big thud,  I landed flat in my back, slightly winding me.

"Fuck, we haven't seen each other for seven months and the first thing you do is wind me?" I groan.

Charlie places his hands on the ground and lifts himself so he's hovering above me. Suddenly it wasn't just being winded that was stopping me from breathing.

"Well sorry about that love," he says.

Oh god.

"Ew cooties" averman yelled.

We had totally forgotten that we were in a public place, that's a bit embarrassing. We both quickly stand up and sheepishly smile.

I looked around at the team, it was as if we never left, but something was missing.

"Cute but gross," Julie says.

I suddenly raise what was missing.

"Wait where's Dean and Jesse?" I ask

"Yeah about that" Goldberg says.

"We don't know where they are"

Rivers face dropped.

A/N- I saw a TikTok of someone recommending my fanfic so that made me want to write again. So keep it up I love seeing people recommend my shit.

I really have no explanation for disappearing, but I'm back now with hopefully better spelling and grammar skills. I sometimes cringe over some of my mistakes from previous books, I think I've finally learned to edit

Anywho I don't think I need to apologize for the short chapter cause I only ever do short chapters ahahah
