I don't think I ever skated home faster than at that moment, by the time I got back home I was sweating like a pig and panting like a pug.
I ripped my skates off and ran into the house as fast as my legs would allow me.

"Mum?"I yelled as I searched around the house.

"Dad?"I yell shortly after.

"I'm in the laundry hun!"I hear my mum sing.

I raced towards the laundry almost causing friction burn on my covered feet (yep that fast). I halted in the doorway of the laundry.

"You won't fucking believe what just happened!"I said.

"Oi language, "A deep voice said.

I turned around to see my Dad behind me.

"Oh like you can talk you Galah, "I say.

My dad chuckles,

"So anyway guess what I got in the mail today!"

"Whatttttt" My parents reply oddly.

I stare at them, they both seemed to be attempting to keep a straight face.

"Wait you know!"I say.

Their faces suddenly went back to normal, massive smiles spread across their faces.

"Of course we know! Coach Bombay gave us a call earlier asking whether we received the letters yet" Mum says before sweeping me up into a hug.

"I just can't believe that-" I suddenly stop.

I part away from the hug.

"What do you mean Coach Bombay called you?"I ask.

"Well he needed to make sure you were going to be there for the acceptance ceremony," She says.

"Yeah but why would he be calling you about that, what does he have to do with this?"I say still confused.

"Well he wanted all the ducks to be there"

"What do you mean all the ducks?"

"Oh my lord Elyse didn't you know the whole team got scholarships to Eden Hall?"

I can't believe it.

"Your not fucking with me right now are you?"I ask

"No?!"

Oh my fuck! Holy shit I'm going to see them again" I yell

I hug my parents tightly.

"So I guessing that's a yes to me going to this school?!"I ask

"Well it's a big decision but yes if you would like to go to Eden hall you can"

I hug them even tighter.

Despite all this excitement I couldn't help thinking what about River?
