Chapter 6 Loved

"Yeah, it's me" I told him, setting my hands over his hands, which were freezing cold

Even in the dark, I could see his bleeding wrists

He was bound to a mixture of ropes and chains.

His fingers had gone purple

"Oh God" I whispered, touching his dirty face

"What the hell is going on? Why are we here?" He asked, coughing at the end of his sentence

"I don't know dad, I don't know" which wasn't a complete lie

I had no idea, why Martin was really doing this. It didn't make sense

"Since when have we been here?" My dad asked me

"I'm not sure...but we will both get out of here soon, I promise" as a finish speaking, the doors opened

Martin walked in, stomping over to me and grabbing my arm

"It's time to go" he mumbled, pulling up to my feet

"Don't touch her, you son of a bitch! Let my daughter go!" Dad yelled, struggling against the metal, that bound him

Instead of saying anything, Martin walked over to my dad, dragging me along with him, and punched him in the face

"No!" I yelled, throwing myself over my fathers injured body

I looked up, to find Martin scolding down at me

"Get up!" Martin yelled at me

"Martin, please" I said, looking up at the tall man infront of me

"Luna!" He shouted, his voice booming

I jumped, but didn't let go of my dad's limp body

Martin reach down and grabbed my arm, hard enough that I was sure there would be a bruise afterwords

He yanked me roughly, pulling me off of my dad and push me out of the room

"Luna! Luna! Luna! Luna! LUNA!" I heard my father's panicked voice, slowly fading away

"Keep walking!" Martin grumbled

I did as I was told and then all of a sudden came to a stop

"I said, keep walking!" He shouted, grabbing my wrists

I didn't move... I stayed still, looking down at the floor

"Do you love me?" I asked

I didn't know what I was doing, he had done what I asked before, by just touching his face. Maybe this would work, maybe I would get what I wanted. Or maybe I would end up just like my dad

Martin loosened his grip on me

"What?" He asked me

"Are you in love with me?" I asked, still looking down at the floor

Martin didn't respond right away, instead he grabbed my chin and looked into my eyes

"Of course I'm in love with you" his voice soft and quiet "why would I be doing this if I didn't love you? I'm trying to do is protect you"

"Then why do you keep on hurting me?" I asked him

Martin opened his mouth, but closed it, soon after

"Baby...i don't want to hurt you, I just want you to listen to me" he told me, caressing my fave, with his thumb

I felt sick

"Then let me go" I told him

His features harden, his shoulder stiffened, and his back straightened up

"No! If I let you go, you will go back to...him" Martin growled

"Who?" I asked, knowing his was talking about Angel

"That...that...that...peice of shit, that cheated on you!" He growled

"Martin, you love me, that means you need to trust me. I won't go back to anyone, it's just you and me...forever" I promised

"Forever?" He asked me

I smiled and nodded

"Forever" I nodded "all you have to do is let me outside...just for a little bit of air"  I told him

I had previously seen all of the land, but we couldn't be in the middle of nowhere. There had to be something, some store, gas station, something

It couldn't just be me, Martin, and my dad. There had to be more. I needed there to be more, otherwise, I was stuck with nowhere to go, nowhere to escape, no one to help me

"Okay, but just outside...okay?" He asked

I'm not in my head and smiled

It took all the strength that I had, but I reached over and grabbed his hand with mine. Interlocking our fingers together

Everything that I would do next, was for Angel... Only for him. I needed to get back, he was my home, my constant, my everything
