I'm a just a person with highs and lows,
I never thought you'll make my life miserable,
You always made my mind a fuss.
because of you I want to stab my heart
And pull my heart out.
You made me expect things from people,
Which clearly disappointed as always,
Again and again and again
I made the same mistake, 'expectation'.
Now we're standing on a waterbridge,
I want to smile for once,so I'll let you go,
On the bridge,You were hanging,
Holding my hands while leaving scars,
I teared up as it was hard.
But finally I let you drown,
I can able to smile now,with peace.
Bruises in my hands short-lived,
As i smiled more.
Little did i know you're fish,as surprise,
You came back to haunt me twice.
I was lost in loop of fear and cries.

In First and second passage 'you' refers to your inner self. It's like you are talking to your inner self.
In Third passage 'you' refers to your past . It is about letting go of your past which never happened really.
