Part 10

                       ~Alex's POV~

I saw Addy abruptly leave the room and she looked like she was about to cry. I did my best to end stream fast and I went to find her.

The bathroom door was closed and I heard her quietly crying from behind the door.

Fuck.

"Addy..?" I ask quietly, knocking on the door.

"What?" she sniffled

"Are you ok?"

There was silence.

"No" she cried and unlocked the door.

"Oh Addy" I hug her and she cries into my shoulder.

"What happened" I brush my fingers through her hair.

She sits down on the floor of the bathroom and hands me her phone. It's open to some texts.

I read through them, one arm around Addy, holding her tightly.

"That jerk" I whisper, setting her phone down.

She cries quietly in my arms and I sit there.

Where's Phil when you need him?

"Alex?" she whispers, looking me in my eyes.

"Yes?"

"Am I.." she breathes in

"Am I really ugly?" tears fall down her face.

"What? Of course not" I say, shocked she'd even think she wasn't.

"But.. I am overweight." she looked at me with sorrow in her eyes.

"No you're not. God Addy! You're probably the prettiest girl I've ever seen. Look at yourself in the mirror and tell me you're not absolutely gorgeous!" I pull her to her feet and she looks in the mirror.

She examines herself and frowns.

"But Jake-"

"Fuck Jake" I smile.

She smiles back and hugs me.

"Thank you" she whispers.

"For what? I'm just telling the truth"

"You really think I'm gorgeous?" she giggles.

"The most gorgeous girl I've ever fucking met" I grab her hand.

She smiles softly and wipes her tears.

I smile back, squeezing her hand.

"Stop doing shit like that" she chuckles.

"Like what?"

"All that cute stuff. You're gonna make me fall in love with you" she giggles

I smile sadly and chuckle.

So she's not in love with me...

"Let's go watch something" she pulls me to the living room.

"Alright" I try to hide my sadness.

She grabs the remote and turns stranger things on.

"Have you finished season 4 yet?"

"No.."

"What?" she screams and turns it on.

We finish the season and I'm in tears.

"What's with you and sad stuff" I sniffle, looking at her who's completely unfazed.

"You're just a pussy" she laughs.

"I should get going" she whispers.

"Alright. See you soon?"

"For sure" she smiles.

She leaves and I sit there, a frown on my face.

I get up and go to my computer. I call Phil.

"Phil?"

"Yes?"

"I'm in love with Addy" I say.

"Alex..." he says, fear in his voice.

"I know I barely know her but-"

"Alex I'm streaming" he says softly
