"Hello." Bryan said, he wasn't familiar with my mom's first name.
"I'm Sandra, Rebecca's mom." My mom said.
"Hi mom." I cut in.
"Hello sweetie. Bryan, please, have a seat."
"Thank you." Bryan said as he sat down. My mom had prepared some sandwiches and some fries. While we were eating, my mom was looking at Bryan, like she knew something.
"So, Bryan do you have a job?" My mom asked.
"Yeah." Bryan said, after swallowing the last bite of his sandwich.
"What do you do?"
"I work in a video store."
"Rebecca works in a video store."
"That's where we met."
"How sweet! Becca, you left that part out."
"Whoops." I said.
"Bryan, I would like a word in private." My mom took me to the living room and told me to wait until she came out before I could come back in. I heard most of their 'word in private'.
"Are you active with my daughter?"
"I'm sorry?"
"You know what I mean."
"Uh, not really."
"What do you mean by that?"
"I mean, that we've kissed and slept in the same bed once, but have never had sex."
"Well, I'm glad, becuase my daughter is pure and I don't need you coming and taking it that quickly."
That's when I came back in.
