Chapter 27: Traitor

[Yesterday]

Dahyun was walking down the market place to buy some fresh items. It was crowded as usual and the loud sound of vendors and customers bargaining are quite refreshing and nostalgic for her. She remembers going to the market with her sisters when they were kids. They would usually hold hands so none of them would get lost and get kidnapped as their mother always say to scare them. But nonetheless, the market is a somehow a calming place for her

"Excuse me, how much for the bell peppers?"

"That'll be ten"

"I'll have four please" The vendor gave her the bell peppers when she saw a crowd forming by the pet shop. She heard loud shrieks and exclaims from inside and decided to check it out. The girl squeezed into the crowd to get a better look on what's happening. She saw a very familiar girl trying to calm down a man with her

"Is that... Y/N..?" Dahyun said to herself

"Hoseok calm down!" 

The doctor was too busy making siren like sounds when he saw a staff holding a snake. "Y/N we can get another pet! Just not that! WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!" His voice was so loud, a lot of people have been covering their ears the whole time and was completely annoyed

Dahyun couldn't believe her eyes. Is this destiny? Did she actually got lucky to encounter Y/N once again? Was this meant to happen? 

The snake was hissing violently at the staff, it seems like it was out of control. Y/N on the other hand was trying to persuade Hobi to get down from the cabinet. A lot of people seem to enjoy the sight because everyone was laughing at the man's shrieks and reactions, some even had their phones out to record it. Y/N was panicking because a lot of eyes are staring down at them thanks to Hobi

The snake moved violently causing the staff to let go of it finally being free. Everybody backed away and exclaimed once the snake slithered pass the floor and into the crowd between their feet. Among all the panic, Hobi's screams still top over the crowd, Y/N had no choice but to jump on the table and covered her ears feeling like it would pop the more she hears his loud voice

"Oh... Oh my heart... " Hoseok panted as he holds his chest. "I'm really sorry about that Hobi..." Y/N apologized

People started to walk away once everything was over except Dahyun. She couldn't move and just stared down at the girl that was missing for over a month now

'I got to report this to Jay B... This is one heck of a news! I'm getting closer to my goal...' 

Suddenly, she felt a hand grab her shoulder making her turn. "Y-Yeonjun!" 

"Hi! Didn't knew you also go to market here"

"Oh I always do, it's just near my house that's why" Dahyun looked back at the shop for a bit only to see no trace of Y/N and the man she was with

"Do you have anyone with you, Dahyun?" Yeonjun asked making her turn to him again. "No. Just me..." She answered honestly

"Well that's lucky. I'll have to be stuck with a headache this early" He complained

"Heyyyy whatcha talking about?" Beomgyu wrapped his arm around Yeonjun who doesn't seemed pleased at all, "Oh hi Dahyun!" He waved at the girl

"I thought I lost you already..." The blueberry boy whined

Beomgyu teasingly laughed before saying, "You can never get rid of me" And continued laughing as Yeonjun dies inside. "Nice talking to you Dahyun, let's see each other at school! Let's go before his majesty Soobin gets bored" The young boy dragged Yeonjun who is clearly asking for help using his pleading eyes. Nonetheless, he got pulled back into the sea of people and was lost in sight
