World

28 5 2

I preach of love, I preach of life.

But somehow by a twist of time,

I find myself entrapped

in the museum of melancholies,

Holding a dagger before the mirror

with two helpless eyes staring back at me.

The world is suddenly too small to breathe,

Yet too wide to reach you.

The world is too dark to see

Yet I see the darkness between my tears.

The world is a big place you say,

yet a feel unsafe, even behind this locked door.
