This Cinderella danced on a silver thread with you
Till she tricked her eyes that the slipper wasn't glass
That she tricked her heart that it wasn't glass.
This Cinderella, felt time move.
With eyes on the watch.
She dug a grave for her heart.
And when the clock struck twelve as she anticipated,
This Cinderella's shoe fell right in it.
With one foot in the grave and other above it,
She finally choked out a sob for help.
And by the grace of God, her cry
Was heard by a God-sent in disguise.
The angel uplifted her, along with her soul,
"Oh brave care giver, you too need someone's care before"
