I walked towards the door
"Manik you can't go knock on it" he said pulling me back
"That's exactly what im doing" I said and rang the bell
"Welcome home son in law" her step mom said
"Where is she" ia asked
"I wouldn't know" she siad smirking
"Where is my wife" I asked again as cabir grabbed my arm
"Mrs Murthy we don't want trouble so where is she" he asked
"I do not know cabir, and nor do I care" she said
"Fine play that game but if I find her here do not be surprised if you don't wear anything other than an orange jumpsuit"
"Oh manik darling you have such a smart mouth but you better watch it" she said and I walked inside
"Nandini" I screamed and she smirked
"Cabir" he nodded
"Go" he said and I ran up while cabir grabbed onto mrs Murthy
I ran up to the rooms and she wasn't there, I was about to come down again when I heard some clattering from a room so I ran there and opened it to see Nandini tied to a chair while these two men stood there,
One was holding nandini and the other one was shirtless. Nandini's eyes met mine and she started crying. I couldn't help but tear up as well, she looked so lost and weak.
"Get your filthy hands away from my wife" I said walking towards Nandini but they both grabbed me
"Wrong move assholes" I said punching them and they were out in a second
They should have really thought about this before trying to fight a boxer. I walked to nadnini and untied her.
"Hi shona"
"Manik" she whispered falling into my arms
"Im so so sorry manik, I"
"Shh I know, lets go home"
"Myra" she asked as I picked her up
"She is sleeping, im sure she will be happy seeing you" I said and she rested her head against my chest
"Manik im gonna faint" she mummbled
"Now" I asked and she nodded lazily
I ran down to see the cops there but I didn't wanna get into it right now so I ran straight out and cabir followed me
He got in the car driving to the hospital while I caressed her face, se had these huge bags under her eyes, her face was pale.
"She is okay and damn your wife is really a rockstar" cabir said driving
"I know"
"She did it, all the proof everything will send her away for a long time" I nodded in agreement
We reached the hospital and the doctors took her, cabir and I were sitting outside on the chairs.
"She will be okay right" I asked cabir and he nodded
"Trust me she is a fighter, I mean she literally handles you so"
"Im not that difficult" I siad and he laughed
"You crib when she gives you broccoli and she has to baby you to eat it"
"Shut up" I said knowing it's true
"At this point ill tell you something"
"What' I asked
"She is your soulmate" I smiled hearing this
"You bet she is" he chuckled
"Mr Malhotra" the doctor said
"Is she okay"
"Ya both of them are good" he said confusing me
"Both" cabir and I questioned at the same time
"She is pregnant mr Malhotra" the doctor said
"She is pregnant" I repeated to myself
"A couple weeks" he siad and I stumbled back
"Cabir she is pregnant"
"Oh yess umm hmm we are gonna have a fucking party, Holly shit" he yelled
"Keep it down it's a hospital, you can go in now if you want, she should be up soon since she fainted because of exhaustion and dehydration" he said and we both nodded walking into the room
She is pregnant, she is pregnant, I cannot believe this. Holly shit im gonna be a dad again. Shittt shit double fucking shitt, I am so fucking excited.
"Can you calm down those expressions, a cat can even tell how happy you are"
"Im gonna be a dad again holly shit, holly fucking balls" i said pulling him into a hug
"Im glad you are getting that happy ever after with Nandini" he said making me smile
I pulled back and sat down beside Nandini holding her hand. It was 7 in the morning when I got Navya's message saying she is bringing myra because she wouldn't stop crying so I siad okay
"Ma-manik" I heard Nandini
"Finally" I mummbled holding her hand as she moved a bit
it took her a bit to come out of that hazy faze and when she did, her eyes widened as soon as she saw me
"Manik, myra is she okay" that was her first question
"Relax, she is fine" I siad helping her up
"Manik"
"Hi shona" I siad and she giggled
I couldn't help but smile, I could feel my heart fluttering just hearing her giggle. I chuckled and heard caber groan
"Hi bhai" she said seeing cabir
"You little"
"Chose your next words wisely" I said and Nandini giggled
"Don't even think about it Nandini, I am extremely upset with you" I said seeing her pouting at me
"But"
"Forget him, how are you" cabir asked
"Good, umm you got the evidence" she asked and caber nodded
"Fudge jaa, thank god finally she is gone" nandini said making us both smile
She started talking to cabir but in my heart I knew she is doing this to distract herself. There was a lot going on inside of her, I could tell just by looking in her eyes, she was avoiding my gaze. The door opened and in walked in myra and navya.
