I ran downstairs to see myra in Manik's arms, her head rested on his shoulder but her face was dull again. I walked closer to Manik and cabir smiled seeing me
"Shall we get started" he asked and I nodded
Manik placed myra on the couch beside us and his attorney/lawyers or whatever made us both sign a lot of papers and finally after what took forever the papers sighing thing was done.
"You may exchange rings now" he said and I nodded
"Rings shit" cabir murmured under his breath
"Here" I said handing Manik a box
"What's this" he asked
"Silly human being" I mumbled
"Silly" myra repeated making me giggle
"Shh baby it's a secret" I said and she laughed
"Give me your hand" I said to Manik who looked clueless
Shaking my head at him I grabbed his left hand and slipped a simple yet elegant band in his ring finger.
"Seriously dude you cannot be this clueless, put the ring on me or am I gonna have to do that" I asked and he grabbed the ring from the box
I forwarded my hand to him and he grabbed it making me feel things. It felt like I was stepping into a new life which was true but it felt nice which is stupid becasue he doesn't believe any of this shit. I mean why should he, I am a slut and a bitch right.
He slid the ring in my finger and I looked at it. It was official, I was Nandini Murthy malhotra or Nandini Manik malhotra. The man who hated me was now my husband and on the contrary the man I found attractive the first day was my husband
"Congratulation mr and mrs malhotra" the lawyers said and I smiled at them
They left after talking to Manik about something and I sat beside myra who was stuck to me.
"Is my baby hungry" I asked and she nodded
"Let's get you changed and then we can make some brownies" I said and she giggled when I tapped her nose
"Brownies" she asked and I nodded
"Manik"
"What" he snapped
"Nothing" I replied not wanting to get in an argument in front of myra
"Cabir, navya you got what I asked for"
"Yes ma'am, here you go" cabir said handing me a bunch pictures
"Thanks" I said and grabbed myra's hand
"Lets go princess" I said and she walked with me upstairs
"Whats this" she asked pointing at the pictures in m hands
"They are pictures, wanna see" I asked and she nodded
"Then lets go to papa's room" I said and she nodded
I grabbed her pyjamas and mine as well before going into manik's room. I changed then helped myra change and sat her down on the bed
"Miss malhotra ready" I asked and she nodded
I grabbed the pictures and laid them out infant of her
"Mumma, papa, myra" she said pointing at the pictures of us
"Yes and now we put them on the wall"
"Wall" she said and I nodded
I put the pictures in the photo frames and we both put the pictures on the wall. She laid down on the bed and I laid down beside her
