"TODAY Y/N" my dad shouts from downstairs I ignored him as I finished my makeup before running downstairs almost falling on my face "Jesus down girl you ready for school," my stepmom says laughing what am I a fucking dog "We aren't even in Denver yet chill the fuck out morgan," I say picking up my things to put in the car before being stopped by my dad "Shes trying y/n" he says "shes trying to hard to be my mom," I say putting my things in the car sitting in the backseat waiting for my dad and his girlfriend to get in so we can i look out of the window and see there talking i roll the window down so i could listen
"She doesn't like me d/n!" (beeteedoubleyou d/n is dad name yall probably already new that so lemme shut up) "yes she does" my dad says rubbing her shoulder gently no I don't "Dad come on!" i shout out after having my playlist for the road trip ready "i know you ain't rushing me" he says i dont respond and just lean back into my seat
Arriving at the house
"honey wake up we're here," my dad says lightly shaking me awake and rubbing the sleep out of my eyes i look at the house in front of me "oh shit this is nice," i say grabbing my bags from the car "y/n language," he says looking at me "sorry pa," i say teasing knowing it makes him feel old "since im so old you can take the rest of this shit in im going to bed," he says walking inside "Hey you new to the town?" i heard someone day behind me making me turn around he had a bandana and long hair tucked under it he had beautiful brown eyes that just made him look even better (that made no fucking sense) "oh yea just moved here" i say smiling "do you need any help i saw your dad leave you with all of this" he says smiling
