I run after Lila

I run after Lila. Knowing she sees me but not caring. I blink to the street behind an abandoned warehouse.

I watch as she breaks the window of the door and goes inside, blinking behind her and going through the same door.

I run down the hallway when I see her, standing in the middle waiting for me.

"What's your game, crazy lady?" I ask.

"Who cares? You said if you saw me again, you'd kill me." Lila reminds.

"Oh, I remember." I mutter.

"Well, come on, big talker." Lila eggs on. "Let's get this done."

"All right." I say, before running after her and chasing her through the warehouse. I run after her to find her sitting on a wall.

"I'm waiting." Lila mocks.

I blink towards her, only noticing she's not there when I appear. I turn around to see her standing on the opposite wall. I stare, confused as to how this is happening. I blink towards her again, only to appear and her to be on the opposite side.

"Fed up yet, Five?" Lila taunts.

I smirk, grabbing a metal pipe and blinking towards her again, only to hit a metal box instead of her. I drop the pipe, turning around again to see her smiling from the other side. I run out after her, catching her in the middle.

We start punching and kicking each other, once I get the upper hand and kick her legs out from under her, placing my foot on her neck.

"You're better than I thought." Lila wheezes.

"And you are entirely average." I spit out. I look around the warehouse, knowing the Handler's in here somewhere. "You can come out now."

"Well done." praises the Handler. "You figured it out."

"Well, it wasn't very hard." I point out. "She fights like every one of you Commission drones."

"Hmm." the Handler hums. "No matter, here we are. Together again. I've gotta ask...did you miss me, you little shit?"

Lila coughs and laughs below me. I press harder on her windpipe, causing her to gasp.

"You've got a good nose." compliments the Handler.

"You know, planting her in a psych ward, taking advantage of my simpleton brother, that was smart." I mutter.

"Well, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree." the Handler mumbles.

Lila chokes some more, below my shoe. "She's your..." I say, putting the dots together.

"Daughter. Yes. And she's my only one, so I'd appreciate it if you didn't crush her windpipe." the Handler answers.

Lila gasps some more, I slowly remove my foot from her allowing her to stand up.

"I am so going to enjoy killing you someday." Lila whispers.
