Ben x Reader

Pov: Ben helps you escape but what seems like an impossible task stands in your way, Nelson.

"Yes sir...right away... I'll... I'll get them ready" the endless ringing echoes through Benjamin's ear as he numbly placed the phone back down. The conversation with Nelson was still fresh in his mind. He had to act fast if he was to prevent the terror that awaited him.

'I have to get her out of here' Ben thought, Nelson wants you for a new and very risky experiment. The drug could kill you but Nelson didn't care to him you were just another gunny pig. But to Ben, you had become something more.

He had become your rock, your hope that one day you would get out, however, what you didn't know was that day is today. Without wasting a second and the pressure of Nelson's expectantly of you weighed down one's shoulders as he made his way to your 'cell' as he would call it.

In his heart of heart, he knew the company of Syntec is not what it used to be. With the death of Wesley, the rules had become stricter, experiments became deadlier. The company had become a tyranny with one man on top. 

Benjamin joined the company in hopes to improve people's way of living, not tearing it to shreds. Sweat began to form on his forehead as the hallways seemed to close on him the closer he got to your room. 

The sudden noise of your door opening, with a force that could break the wall behind it, sent you shooting up from your lying position, gasping from the lack of air that left your lungs. Ben stood in the doorway nervous and a glint of fear in his eyes. 

He hurried over to your tiny from, just looking at you up and down showed the extensive damage the testing has done to you. Ben couldn't stand it anymore. 

"Y/n listen, I need to get you out of here" he whisper shouted, you were confused and disorientated having been woken up from a nap.

"What...why," you asked confused.

"Listen to me, Nelson wants you for an experiment you may not return from" Ben replied bluntly. Shocked filled your system as you stared into his icy blue eyes. 

"What do you mean" you immediately started to shake, terror taking over your functions.

"Do you trust me y/n" you looked into the caring eyes of the man you had grown to love. Ben has done nothing but keeps you safe, taking you for too risky experiments, and making sure you have enough food and blankets. There is no one more kind and simpathetic  than Ben.

"Yes Ben, I do" He smiled almost lovingly at you and placed his hand out, you took and immediately he pulled you up from your sitting positing and lead you out of the room. All the hallways in Syntec look the same and just seeing them leads to memories of being dragged down these halls begging and screaming to be brought to the front of your mind.

Ben notices your wincing and grips your hand tighter giving you the reassurance you need. Suddenly he stops and drags you down another corridor. Holding his fingers up to his lips telling you to be quiet. 

Your look at I'm in utter terror, Ben silently sighs and pulls you into his chest. deprived of human contact you bury your head into his chest and watch the guards walk past. Ben can feel you trembling in his grasp and holds onto you tighter.

Once the coast was clear he let you go, much to your dismay and continues to drag you through the never-ending maze of corridors. When hopes seemed like a feeling rising in your chest it was shot out of the sky as Nelson stepped from around the corner stopping your escape.

Your breath catches in your throat as a wave of dizziness smacks you in the face. Ben immediately steps in front of you, his body creating a barrier between the love of his life and the tyrant destroying the company. 

"What are you doing B27" Ben cringed at this name, he hated being only known as a number. 

"Move out of the way Nelson, I can't allow you to hurt this patient anymore" Ben's authoritative tone brings hops back to you. But Nelson only laughs.

"What makes you think you can stop me, I own this company. Your nothing but a simple scientist, I can find 10 people better than you" A smile appears on Syphus's face. But before the conversation can continue Ben lunges at Nelson, tackling him to the floor.

The two men started rough housing on the floor each taking and throwing a fair amount of punches. Blood gushed from Nelsons nose as Ben punched him right in the center of his face. a horiffic crunch quickly followed. 

Nelson punched back tearing a nasty gash into Bens's head. All you could do was hide behind the corner and watch in horror as Ben and Syphus pummel each other. Your body trembles from fear and weakness. But you had to do something because at this point Ben was losing.

You grabbed a nearby fire extinguisher and when the time was right you struck Nelson over the head with it. His body collapsed to the ground, a loud thud could be heard throughout the entirety of location 1. 

You ran over to Ben pulling him up, you both staggered to the exit and into the night, leaving the mess of Syntec behind you. It was a good 20 minutes before you and Ben found an abandoned trailer to take refuge in. 

Once inside you cleaned the cuts scattered on his face, you both were exhausted, bruised, and battered. The toll of every single experiment done was evident when your body finally gave out and you collapsed to the floor.

Ben immediately rushed over to you taking your trembling form onto his lap. Sobs racked your body as the constant stress, pressure and fear finally lifted from your shoulders. Ben had his head rested on your head which was on his shoulder.

He whispered sweet nothings into your ear trying to calm you down, eventually, he managed to carry you to the bed. YOu rested your head on his chest, listening to the comforting feeling of his chest rising and falling. A reminder that it was real.

You looked into his icy blue eyes and saw nothing but compassion. "I love you, Ben, you have done so much for me and I can never thank you enough" 

"I love you too y/n, I wish I had gotten you out sooner then maybe you wouldn't have suffered like you did" guilt fuelled tear fell from bens eye, you wiped it away with your thumb and stroked his cheek. 

"I wouldn't change anything" then you kissed him, wrapping your hand around the back of his neck. Ben immediately kissed back, taking your hand in his. The blissful kiss was slowly pulled apart and you stared lovingly into each other's eyes.

"Sweet dreams y/n"

"Sweet dreams Ben"

*1 month later*

The light emanating from the window woke you up, and immediately you noticed the empty spot next to you. Only a letter in its place, opening it carefully you read it.

Y/n, I have gone back to Syntec, every person in that building should get a chance of freedom. I will forever love you and if I Don't make it back I'm sorry. When they come together you must find Project 863, they can help you. Look out for the name Matthew Fredrick, Samantha Fekete, and Woodland Demars. They are the only ones who can truly stop him. Never stop fighting y/n, and when the time is right, fight with Project 863. They are Deb's last chance to make things right.

You stared blankly at the piece of paper, it floated to the bed ad your trembling hands could no longer hold it. You knew you had to be patient in order to find Project 863. Nut you knew it was more of a chance of when you would find them. As you see there is no Spellbound yet.
