A date at the zoo

You squealed with excitement as you slipped off the back of Bucky's Harley. He had brought you to the zoo. He barely had time to turn off the engine before you had jumped off in your excitement. He chuckled softly and put down the kick stand before taking off his helmet. You took off your helmet as well and he tied both of them to the handlebars without a second thought.
"Does my dame approve?" he asked as you jumped at him and wrapped your arms around his neck and pulling him in for a hard kiss on the lips.
"I can't believe you chose the zoo. It's perfect" you cooed, pulling back slightly. "Wait, your dame?" you asked with raised eyebrows.
"That's what I'm thinking about right now" he winked at you and you felt confused. "I have to wait until the end of the date to ask you officially, but now you can start thinking about it," he added with a confident smile. You pulled back shyly, and your face broke out into a smile. He was like a dream. He offered you his arm, and you took it as he led you to the front gates of the zoo. When you got there, he quickly paid for two day passes and you both walked in. "Which way? You are the expert here after all" he asked when you got to the pathway.
"I like to go left, so I can walk through and see all of the animals. It's a longer route" you admitted.
"Then we are going left" he started to lead the way, going slowly. You leaned into him slightly as you both walked at a leisurely pace. You got excited when you saw the first enclosure which were bears and you pulled him forward as you took out your phone and started taking pictures of them. Bucky took out his phone and snapped a few photos as well. You both resumed your leisurely pace. You excitedly started telling him all the nicknames of the animals as you passed by them, and he chuckled but listened in rapt attention. You could tell his entire focus was on you, and you reveled in it. When you let go of his arm for more than a few minutes, he would reach over and take your hand and hold it. He always seemed to bring your knuckles up for a soft, sweet kiss every time he took your hand. You couldn't help but blush under the constant attention.
Bucky learned quickly how much you loved the animals at the zoo. He loved that you were talking so much, and he watched as your face changed from the severe anxiety earlier, to the almost hungry look when he kissed you, the now joyous and excited expression you now had. He couldn't take his eyes off of your eyes or your lips while you were talking. He could feel his heart pounding in his chest. He felt like he was in the center of your world now, and he was grateful for it. When you both stopped in front of the tiger enclosure, he couldn't stand not having you encircled in his arms any longer, he just wanted to hold you. He took a chance and slipped in behind you and wrapped both of his arms around you. He wasn't sure what to expect, but he was pleasantly surprised to hear a soft hum of pleasure escape your lips as you leaned back into him and placed your hands on top of his. Not even Steve kick smack the smile that graced his face right now. He could feel your body move as you took a pleased sigh, and you both stood unmoving and watching the tiger's play with pumpkins. He leaned down and kissed you on the side of the neck when he knew it was almost time to start moving again, and he felt the subtle shiver you gave. He felt proud that he did that to you. He knew you weren't ready for intimacy, and normally he wouldn't be either at this point in a relationship. But he wanted it, badly. He was willing to wait however, because waiting for you was worth it. You held his hand as you led him away from the enclosure and you both continued to walk along the pathway. You stopped a few times to take pictures of the animals as you went, and he followed your lead. He even stopped for a moment to put one he took of you holding his hand and leading the way towards the otters. He loved the way the picture framed your clasped hands as you led the way, and the way your body moved with so much confidence. He put that on his instagram quickly.
When you got to the middle of the zoo there was a small outdoor cafe and bistro, and he treated you to a large iced tea, and one of their home made pastries. He had one as well, both of you had chosen chocolate for the occasion. He grinned proudly as he saw you got a little bit of chocolate beside your lips. He reached over after licking his thumb, and wiped off the chocolate before sucking it off of his thumb, keeping his gaze locked with yours. You had a pink blush go across your cheeks, and it made him smile even more. He took it as the fact that you were enjoying your food, and wasn't disappointed when you said it was delicious when you were done. He put away the garbage for both of you, and held out his hand expectantly when you were both done and you were quick to take his hand.
You continued to walk through the zoo at a leisurely pace and Bucky held your hand as you walked along the winding pathways. You looked back at him a few times, but his face was always smiling. He had let you do most of the talking all day, but would join in on the conversation. He seemed content to just listen and watch you. He would chuckle as you would squeal when you got to some of your favorite animals and pull on his hand a little more. Towards the end you saw the deer enclosure, where you could go in and feed the deer.
"Bucky..." you looked at him hopefully.
"I don't know," he shook his head, suddenly looking intimidated of going in. You saw children running around, as well as adults, excitedly to feed the deer.
"Please, Bucky bear" you pouted, taking his vibranium hand in yours, holding both of his hands hopefully.
"I don't want to hurt them" he shook his head, biting his bottom lip.
"You won't. You'll see" you pulled on his hands and he finally nodded consent and walked in with you. You used some change from your purse to get some food for the deer and filled Bucky's two hands with it. He was immediately approached by a few deer and he timidly held his hands out. They ate from his hands easily and when they were done, he reached out his right hand and gently pet one of the deer who stayed for a moment. You got some more feed, and brought it over to bribe the deer to stay while he continued to pet them. "See, you have a gentle touch" you cooed to him as you reached out a hand to pet the same deer.
"I didn't think they would come to me," he admitted.
"They can feel a gentle soul" you sighed softly. You waited for him to stop petting the deer, and you both went to disinfect your hands as you headed out.
"Did you decide yet?" Bucky asked casually as you both walked towards the front gates again.
"Decide on what?" you asked, feeling completely confused.
"Will you be my girl?" he asked, seeming to exude confidence as he stopped to smile at you, tilting his head back slightly.
"You are so out of my league" you shook your head.
"Please..." he tilted his head towards you, starting to look a little worried.
"Of course Bucky" you smiled shyly, and his face lit up with a smile.
"Good, now I can kiss you as much as I want" he pulled you close and leaned down, brushing his lips against yours briefly before pulling back and giving you his flirty smile. "Want to pick up a crepe on the way home?" he raised an eyebrow.
"You know how to treat a lady," you giggled as you wrapped your arms around his torso.
"I just know my dame" he winked at you, and held you close.
