Diego and the girl sit in a car, across the street from the Texas School Book Depository. They wait across the street in their stolen car for Oswald to finish his job.
"All right, here's the plan:" states Diego. "Oswald finishes his shift at 4:30 pm. Once he walks out those doors, we force him into the front seat."
"I'm in the front seat." reminds the girl.
"Okay, fine." grumbles Diego. "In the back seat. You're gonna pin his arms, I'm gonna cut off his trigger finger and tell him he has 24 hours to exit Dallas."
"That's your plan?" questions the girl.
"You got a problem with it?" Diego asks.
"Well, why don't we just kill him?" asks the girl.
"What?" questions Diego.
"I mean, you think he's going to shoot the president, right?" asks the girl, earning a nod from Diego.
"Right." responds Diego.
"Fine, so we kill him." answers the girl. "Put a bullet between his eyes. Problem solved."
"Oh, no, no, we're not going to kill a man before he's committed a crime." Diego answers.
"That's stupid." Insults the girl.
"Excuse me." exclaims Diego, pissed off with his new 'partner'.
"In fact, you're whole plan is stupid." mocks the girl. "What, chopping off a guy's finger?"
"No, it's not just any finger, it's his trigger finger, all right?" explains Diego. "You can't shoot a gun without a trigger finger."
"What if he's ambidextrous?" the girl suggests. "How do you get through a day?"
"Get out. I can do this on my own." Diego states.
"Dr. Moncton was right, this hero complex is no joke." teases the girl.
"That is not what this is about." states Diego.
"Of course it is." starts the girl. "Y-You want to prove to daddy that you're a big success."
"No, you don't know anything about me." Diego says.
"I know everything about you." the girl states confidently. "You... you are an open book written for very dumb children."
"I am not trying to be a hero, okay?" Diego says.
Five blinks into the back of the car without the two escapees realizing.
"Then why are you doing this?" asks the girl.
"Because he is an idiot." answers Five, alerting the two of his presence.
The girl startles. "Who the hell are you?"
"Hi. I'm his loving brother." Five responds, sarcastically.
"Who left me to rot in the nuthouse." Diego responds, salty.
"To protect you from yourself." answers Five.
"That's quite sweet." the girl says, smiling at Five.
"Okay, both of you, out." Diego commands.
"Lose the crazy lady and come with me." orders Five. "We have important business."
"I'm not going anywhere with you." answers Diego.
"Okay, fine." Five suddenly see a cop walk by on the opposite street. He scoots towards the window, yelling out to the cop. "Officer!"
"Hey!" Diego says, roughly pulling Five away from the window. "What are you doing?"
"I hear there's a reward out for you two." Five answers.
"He's bluffing." states the girl.
"He's not." Diego says, looking into Five's eyes. He sighs, releasing Five and sitting back. "Fine. I'll go with you."
"What about me?" asks the girl.
"And I'm bringing the crazy lady." adds Diego.
Five, the girl, and Diego make it back to Elliott's. Walking up the stairs, they stop at the top when they see Elliott walking towards them with a gun, pointed straight at them.
"Where did you get the film?" Elliott asks, pointing the gun at the three people. "The Frankel Footage. The truth this time."
"You know this lunatic?" Diego asks Five.
"New acquaintance. He's harmless." responds Five.
"Are you sure about that?" asks the girl.
"Are you or are you not, an enemy of the people?" Elliott asks, yelling.
"Such an open-ended question, yeah." "Really depends on the people." Diego and Five say at the same time, overlapping one another.
"You move one more muscle, I'll blow your brains out." threatens Elliott.
"You want to take this or should I?" Diego asks Five.
"No, I got him." Five answers.
"Hey, Lila..." Diego speaks to the girl, Lila, turning her attention away from Five.
Five blinks in front of Elliott, grabbing the end of the gun and moving it towards the ceiling, before it fires a round.
Diego walks over to a gasping Elliott and unloads the rifle.
Lila sputters behind the three boys. "What the hell just happened?"
