unexpected Love-Mattheo Riddle ff

Part 19

The next few days my situation with Mattheo went back to normal.

We sometimes change some words during potion class or we caugh each other staring at the other one.

Nothing more but I'm enjoying every little moment.

Pansy was kinda mad at me for forgiving him but she dealt with it.

At the moment everbody's talking about the upcoming Winter ball.
(AN: Not the Yule Ball)

Everyone freaking out about with who they're going is honestly kinda funny.

I don't really care if I don't get a date but I actually was thinking about asking Mattheo.

I'm really really unsure though.

I don't think he likes that kinda stuff or if he's already going with somoene else.

I highly doubt that though.

I'm probably just overthinking too much again.

I was just walking to my next class when I got stopped by somoene.

"Hey Y/N"

It was Theo Nott.

"Uh hi Theo"

"How are you?"

"I'm fine thanks"

"Alright so I was thinking if you maybe wanna go to the ball with me", he casually asked.

Theo's nice as far as I know him. And pretty good looking by the way.
I would like to go with him but something was stopping me from saying yes. Not something somoene.

And that certain somoene just walked by me and Theo. He was eyeing us curiously.

I focused back on Theo.

"Uhm I'm really sorry but I have to say no. Thanks tho"

"Alright", he said pretty unbothered.

And he left.

I quickly walked in the other direction to catch up with Mattheo.

Ok Y/N just do it don't think too much.

I walked around the corner he just took and to my surprise he stood directly infront of me looking down at me.

"Hey"

"Uhm hey", he really caught me off guard.

"Where are you going"

Ok Y/N this your chance. I tried to keep my voice calm.

"I was actually looking for you"

"Yeah?", he raised his eyebrows.

"I wanted to ask you if you go to the ball"

Oh Merlin I said it.

"I will go if you go"

Okay unexpected answer.

"What if we go together?"

Did I really just ask Mattheo Riddle if he wants to go to a ball with me.

"Yeah sure"

I just nodded kinda awkwardly.

"See you"

"Bye"

I quickly walked away from him and hushed into the girls bathroom.

Oh. My. Fucking. God.

I took a deep breath and grinned like crazy.

I need to tell Pansy about this.
