Part 7

As I was climbing up the stairs to the astronomy tower I realised how late and dark it already was.

I climbed up the last stair and immediatly saw Mattheo sitting in a corner.

He looked up from his note book and stared me in the eyes.

"Hi", i said.

"Hi", he looked back at his note book.

"Why did you leave the party?", i asked.

"I got bored"

"Oh okey"

"Why are you here Y/N , weren't you having fun with Cormac?"

" No, I wasn't"

"Well it looked like it"

"Why do you care so much?"

"I don't"

I didn't now what to say anymore.

I sat down in front of Mattheo.

We just sat there for a minute before I said out of nowhere: "Cormac is disgusting I don't even know why I danced with him"

He nodded while looking me deep in my eyes.

I was starting to freeze in my short dress.

"Are you cold?", Mattheo asked me just like he read my mind.

"Yeah"

"Come let's go inside", he stood up and climbed down the stairs.

I followed him.

On the last stair he took my hand and helped me to jump down.

His hand was cold but felt really nice

As fast as he grabbed it he let go of it again

Then we walked back to the common room in silence.

He walked me to my dorm.

I walked in and he stayed outside the doordrame.

"Goodnight Y/N"

"Goodnight Mattheo"

Before I could say something else he walked away.

I closed the door and let myself fall on my bed.

I was so tired that I felt asleep still being in my dress.
