I woke up the next morning feeling amazing. I haven't slept this good in months. After a loud yawn I stood up and started getting ready.

I was brushing my teeth when it hit me.

Shit it's Christmas morning.

I got ready as fast as possible and wrapped Mattheos present in some crappy old wrapping paper I found somewhere in a drawer and finally left my dorm.

I excitedly jumped down the stairs to the common room and looked around me to find Mattheo in a chair reading a book.

"Good morning", I smiled

"Morning Y/N"

Damm why does he always have so say my name like that.

"So since it's Christmas I got something for you", I handed him my badly packed in present.

"You really didn't have to get me something darling"

"But I wanted to"

He smirked at me in response.

"Here this is for you", he grabbed a package wich has been laying on the ground next to him, "Hope you like it"

It was a black box with a red bow around it.
I carefully opened the box and looked at some sage fabric. Laying on top of it was a pretty pearl necklace. I took it out and smiled at Mattheo.

"Thank you I really like it"

"It matches with the dress"

Dress?

I looked back down at the fabric and took it out of the box. I was holding a gorgeous dress in my hands.

"I absolutely love it Mattheo, thank you", I stood up and gave him a light hug

"I absolutely love it Mattheo, thank you", I stood up and gave him a light hug.

"I don't know when I'm gonna wear this tho", I laughed.

Mattheo cleared his throat:" Actually you have one tonight"

I looked at him confused.

"The Malfoys are hosting a Christmas ball and we are commited to go"

"Well make it fun", he told me after seeing my not so happy face.
