unexpected Love-Mattheo Riddle ff

Part 3

The night was really warm for late september.
I was observing the beautiful landscape , leaning against the railing.

"Beautiful, isn't it?"

"MERLIN, SHIT YOU SCARED ME." , I twitched.

A chuckle came from the boy sitting in the corner.

He was sitting on the floor.
That note book on his lap.
A pen in his right hand.
A cigarette in his left one.

"Did you miss me?", Mattheo asked.

"You know I usually come here to be alone", I said lightly smiling.

"That didn't answere my question, Lestrange"

"And I'm not gonna answer it", I said, keeping my voice calm.

He took a drag at his cigarette and drew in his note book again.

I walked over to him and sat down in front of him, still leaving a lot of space between us.

He pulled out a pack of cigarettes pointing them in my direcrion.

"Do you want one?"

"No thanks"

I smoked a cigarette one time and hated it.
Never again.

We just sat there for 5 more minutes.
I didn't really know what I should say so I just stayed quiet.

But it wasn't like an awkward silence.
We were both enyoing the pleasant silence.

It began getting really dark and a cold gust of wind was breaking in.

I stood up and looked at him.

"I'm going back inside"

"Ok", was the only thing that came out of him while looking deep into my eyes.

I held the eyecontact a few more seconds and then just turned around and walked to the ladder.

I was already climbing the ladder down when i heard a soft
"Have a good night "

"You too",I looked a last time at him.

While walking back to the common room Mattheo was the only i could think of.
I also couldn't stop smiling.

I scurried into the dorm i am sharing with Astoria, Pansy and Daphne.

They where already sleeping.

I laid down in my bed and immediatly fell asleep.
Still not stopping to think about that brown curled boy...
