Chapter One: Previously on Hidden Springs

 "We are back with The Midnight Hour and tonight, as you already know, we happen to have here with us the most adored couple of the major TV Series Hidden Springs: Alyssa Hayes and Matthew Crawford!"

The audience of the legendary TV host Jack Cox applauded wildly. Alyssa and Matthew briefly looked at each other and smiled, making someone in the audience scream an incredibly loud "aww" that ended up being heard throughout the whole studio--and by the rest of the United States, probably. Almost immediately, Matthew laughed in a way that had been proven very popular amongst the American girls every time that he did an interview. Both Cox and Alyssa giggled, mostly because one of the girls on the front row was nearly about to faint of happiness, looking at him with the most dreamy expression anyone had ever seen.

"It seems like Landon and Holly are really hitting it off now on Hidden Springs," Cox said, getting back to the interview. Aly smirked.

"Two seasons; it was about time," she replied, making some people laugh in agreement.

Matt drank a sip of his coffee, staring at the woman with whom he had spent twelve hours a day, six days a week with for the last two years.

Both of them knew the question that would pop out next.

"What about you two?" Jack kept talking, a mischievous smile on his lips. "Every week we see presumptions in all of the magazines and websites that Landon and Holly inspired you two, in real life, to have a relationship a little less professional and a little more personal."

They gazed at each other while the crowd started to whisper.

"Really? I guess I've never seen that kind of gossip," Matt said, sounding playfully sarcastic, much to the audience's delight.

"Oh, I'll show 'em to you, no problem!" Cox returned the look, grinning, and some of the latest articles appeared on the big screen behind him. Aly hid her face in her hands, laughing, and Crawford whispered something in her ear, leading the audience into frenzy.

"Just Jared on Wednesday: 'Alyssa Hayes & Matthew Crawford return to the set of Hidden Springs,'" Cox proceeded. "Matthew Crawford and Alyssa Hayes share a fruit salad while on a break of shooting the third season of Hidden Springs, on the streets of Venice Beach last Tuesday. Fans and onlookers were able to snap some pictures of the lovebirds, in and out of the screen."

The two of them laughed again.

"I just took a strawberry from his fruit salad," the girl said, still laughing. "It's not like we were devouring a plate of spaghetti like in The Lady and the Tramp."

"Are you calling me a tramp?" Matthew chuckled when he saw Aly's grimace. "And you didn't take a strawberry; you stole all of my strawberries."

"Well, is it just me or does this look like a real couple argument?" Cox teased the audience. "Another one! TMZ, yesterday: Matthew Crawford and Alyssa Hayes were seen walking in a park. The English hottie was running shirtless and casually encountered his Hidden Springs co-star, while the girl was taking her two Labradors for a walk... Casually?" Cox taunted.

"I think he stalks me," Alyssa said playfully. "But honestly, we really didn't plan it." The brunette laughed when the audience didn't seem to believe her.

"Let's face it," Cox smiled. "We hardly ever get to see two young actors like you with so much chemistry on-screen. And whenever you two give an interview, we can see the connection, the spark in the air. Are you really going to disappoint the entire world by saying that's all in their heads? Damn, it would be one of the highest ratings of my show if you could admit you're in a relationship here," Jack said, smirking.
