Chapter 12: Code Breaker

Chris's POV

I was pissed that Allison knew about Scott but considering Hope and Hayley, I wasn't surprised that she would find out. I was scared too that Hope would hate me know for doing all of this and when Enzo picked Allison up and they headed to their car, I followed them from a distance and heard them telling Allison something about Kate so what. 

I took out my phone and messaged Hope saying I'm sorry and that for her and Enzo to keep Allison safe from Peter. Hope replied back that she forgave me and that they would keep her safe but for me to find the truth of the Hale fire. I knew right there that she knew something I didn't. 

When I got home i through a chair at the fireplace as Kate just sat there. 

"Feeling better," she asks and I scoff before looking at her. 

"Don't push me, Kate!" I say 

"I thought it was a pretty healthy display of aggression, actually," Kate says 

"You told her," I say

"She found out," Kate says 

"Don't think I don't know about the clues you've been leaving, starting with that necklace. She knows because you wanted hear too," I say

"She needs to and considering she's been hanging around with Hayley, Hope and their pack I wouldn't be surprised if she found out that way," she says

I ignore what she says about Hayley, Hope and their pack. I couldn't tell her that Allison knew it from them

"Why are you back here? You hate this town. I had a network of names. I could've called a lot closer than you. But you called first ," I say

"So now you don't want my help," she says 

"I'm not sure I know who you're helping," I say 

"Oh, come on, I'm here to catch the Alpha. Remember the one running here killing people at random." She says as I bend down to picking up the pieces of the chair that broke. 

"Not random," I say knowing that Peter was the Alpha but why was he killing people. 

"What," she says 

"Tyhurst said that Sheriff Stilinski can connect every murder back to the Hale fire," I say looking at her

"Well, then that's even more reason for her to know cause they've always blamed us for that fire," Kate says "It had to have been Derek and some other relative but I guarantee they're circling around to us as their last targets," 

"I know which is why Hope is taking Allison out of here tonight," I say "she's gonna drive her to their pack house and stay with her until I call"

"Are you kidding me," Kate says "you're gonna send your daughter with another wolf that's part of the same family that's after us."

I drop the pieces of wood and point at her

"Hope isn't just any wolf, she's my daughter," I say pissed
