Two days after the last chapter:

Alexandria PoV:

As I trudged up the path, I growled at the snow surrounding me, kicking it out of the way as I went. My fangs were out, all my eyes were freezing, and I could smell a heavy amount of blood in the air. I unfolded my arms, dropping to the ground, before scuttling up a tree. I saw an injured and scared looking woman in a maid outfit beneath me, the outfit torn and dirty. I smiled widely, before clipping my hat to my belt, and descending from the treetop on a silken string. I stopped just behind the woman, blowing a little puff of air on her neck.

"What is a pretty little thing like you doing all the way out here?" I asked in a singsong voice, and she screamed, stumbling and falling to the ground.

"I thought I escaped the monsters! I left that damn castle behind!" She started crawling backwards, and I dropped to the ground, scuttling slowly towards her.

"Oh sweetie, that's not how you talk to someone who could've helped you," I tutted before baring my fangs in a sickening smile. "Now, you're just lunch." Her eyes went wide and she screamed, and I pounced, tearing into her flesh with haste. Warm blood splattered everywhere, causing the snow to steam slightly. After I was finished, I pulled back to examine a blood-stained skeleton with rags around it. I licked my lips, before continuing up the path, slowly removing my scythe off my back when I heard footsteps in the bushes. A few minutes later, a massive, hairy creature jumped at me, only to receive a scythe blade through the bottom of its skull. I pulled the bloodied blade out, before doubling my pace, reaching the end of the path soon after. I looked up, and the towering bulk of Castle Dimitrescu stared back. I pushed the gate open, shutting it behind me, before walking up to the door and knocking. It was answered almost immediately by another woman in a maid outfit, who's eyes went wide upon seeing me. She shook her head, however, and let me in, shutting the door behind me.

"May I take your cloak and hat, miss?" She asked me, and I smiled graciously, before nodding.

"Thank you, dear. I apologize for any inconveniences." I flashed her a brilliant smile as I said that. She stuttered out that it was no issue, and I handed her my cloak and hat. She scurried off into the castle, a bit of a blush on her face. I grinned widely, especially when I felt vibrations in the floor, matching that of Dahlia's limp and Maggie's loping stride.

"Stop flirting with the help." Dahlia called out as she walked down the stairs, followed by distant buzzing.

"What, it's just what I do, you know that! Besides, it keeps me entertained." I smiled, and she rolled her eyes under her mask. After so many years, I had gotten used to being able to read her face even when it's under the mask. The buzzing got louder, until three swarms of flies appeared, before forming into three beautiful women. When they saw me, their looks of confusion were replaced by ones of terror, and they jumped behind Dahlia and Maggie, using them as shields.

"Wha-" "GIANT SPIDER!" They all shrieked at once, and I realized what was going on.

'Oh yeah, they're made of flies. That makes sense.' I thought to my self, before I held my arms up in the air as a sign of mock surrender.

"I come in peace, not to eat beautiful women made out of flies!" I grinned widely, and Dahlia rolled her eyes again.

"You three, she's harmless. Mostly. Unless you three die from bad flirting and cheesy jokes, you should be fine. She doesn't even touch anything that doesn't have a way to pump blood." The three looked at me with anxious looks in their eyes, and hesitantly, the one with blond hair stepped out from behind Dahlia and approached me. I extended one of my six hands, and she slowly shook it.
