October 17

Brielle stood outside her parent's home, extremely anxious. "I don't think I can do this" she muttered to herself as she stared up at the house.

Killian walked over to her and grabbed her hand in his. "You can do it princess." He told her.

A few days ago, Brielle frantically knocked on Killian's front door. When the door opened and Killian asked what was the matter, Brielle Mae began to rant. She ranted about how she can't keep talking to her family without telling them about her being pregnant. She wanted nothing more than to just talk to her mom about pregnancy and what she may have to expect.

Killian agreed with her and told her it was a good idea to come clean about it. Brielle was so nervous that he offered to come with her making Brielle immediately say yes and agree to him coming with.

"Do you think they are going to be disappointed?" She asked him as she raised her hand to knock on the front door. Three knocks and she sucked in a deep breath before sighing deeply.

"No."

The door opened and Brielle looked up to see her step mother, Trinity, standing in the doorway with an apron on and her hair a mess. "Babygirl! Oh what a pleasant surprise. How are you baby?" Trinity side hugged Brielle not wanting Brielle to get four on her, seeing how Trinity is covered in it.

"Hi mom"

"Come in! Come i—oh? who might you be?" Trinity finally took notice of the tall muscular man that stood behind Brielle.

"Killian ma'am"

Brielle stepped into the home with Killian behind her. Trinity closed the door and turned to the two of them, watching as Brielle looked at Killian and smiled. "He's a friend of mine" Brielle told her mother and bit her lip as she glanced at him once more.

Truth be told, Killian and Brielle's friendship felt more than just a friendship to Brielle. She felt more connected to him than anyone else she is friends with.

They haven't talked about their night alone together at Killian's place. Brielle didn't want to bring it up just in case Killian didn't want to speak on those moments.

But it didn't mean that she hasn't thought about it every single day.

"Mom where's dad?" Brielle asked making Trinity immediately yell her husband's name. "Tobias!"

Brielle listened as her father hurried down the steps with a drill in his hand and his shirt off. "Princess" Tobias grinned at the sight of his oldest daughter and walked over to kiss her forehead gently as he hugged her.

Him calling her princess made Brielle look toward Killian to see him smirking. A blush coated her cheeks and she hid her face in her father's tattooed chest.

"Hi dad. Why are you shirtless and carrying a drill?"

"Your mother has me fixing up our bathroom even though it doesn't need any fixing" Tobias chuckled as Trinity glared at him before shaking his head lowly.

"What brings you here babygirl?"

"I need to speak with you guys about something" Brielle pulled away from her father's hug. Tobias looked up to see Killian before looking down at his daughter with a confused look upon his face.
