Suddenly, another person ran after and directly dived down with a beautiful breaststroke.

When did air become water?! Are you diving to your death?!! How can you still look calm??

In front of the numb students, two more figures dashed down, with one of them flailing his arms in protest as he was dragged by the collar off the ship like dirty sack of potatoes.

At this point, the students were doubting life.

Chen WangZhi was also doubting life. However, his doubts were whether he'd get to live after this or not. He screamed, closing his eyes. He was pretty sure that the answer was a no.

Regardless of his struggle, Fernis jumped and silently basked upon that scream.

If the teacher said jump for points, then the students should jump. Yu Yan smirked. There was no way for the instructors to make them do such a thing without considering the students' well being. Information regarding the combat course exams was also available from his sources. Although Yu Yan wasn't interested in this cheat, just the fact that there was no death among the first years proved that his decision isn't wrong.

Feeling the cold biting his cheeks and the sound of his clothes fluttering so loudly on his ears, Yu Yan's heart pounded hard.

Bored as he is, Yu Yan took his chance to escape that dreadfully awkward atmosphere on their table. So what if he was faced with death? He has already died once, not to mention he was always faced with it, being the son of a general.

He was only concerned with how handsome he must be while greeting death!

Below him was the island that grew bigger and bigger as he fell lower and lower. Yu Yan shielded his face against the harsh wind, barely using his spirituality to block the wind out instinctively. He narrowed eyes glared at the island carefully until the something sparkled above it, creating a shimmer that travelled from the top to the sides of the island in a parabolic fashion. His eyes widened.

With an almost invisible dome around it, the island was somehow sparkling in the morning sunlight. He braced himself subconsciously, ready to be blocked or bounced back and repelled into the water, with what seemed like a force field.

Yet it never happened.

As he entered, his free fall became slow. It was as if he fell into the water of a deep lake and slowly he sank down to the bottom.

Oh! Yu Yan's eyes twinkled. It was anti-gravity force field! Wasn't this exclusive for space training? To think there was a field of this size!

The height of jump was needed to be able to exit, otherwise, people would be floating around the sky for a long time, unable to land on the island.

Like a professional cheerleader, Yu Yan tumbled in the force field's zone and was about to land on his feet with a perfect score of 100/10. That is until he heard a small scream in the distant sky. When he manged to rotate his body to look up, he gasped as he saw a person's butt coming nearer.

It was a fine butt.

Two bodies collided and they eventually left the field's zone, Yu Yan falling on the sandy beach with Gazef sitting on him.

Yu Yan groaned. Thankfully, the sand had padded this fall. Angrily, he smacked it. Why is this pair of peaches so heavy!

Gazef flinched. Slowly, he looked back to see his wife's angry countenance.

"Get off me!" Yu Yan demanded angrily, smacking peaches again.

Gazef stood up, slightly stunned and electrified. His behind was still tingling, and yet there was no unpleasantness found in his heart. He scrunched his eyebrows.

Was he a masochist? He didn't think he had this small hobby.

Yu Yan patted the dirt off of his clothes. Sure enough, the small scream grew louder and louder. Unfortunately, before he could step away, another person had landed on his back and he was forced to push Gazef beneath him.

Gazef, who was suddenly kabedoned, let out a small unwanted shriek. Fortunately, it was drowned amidst the loud scream of the Chen young master.

However, all of a sudden, the face of his wife was magnified. His whole self has grown stiff and rigid.

The culprit of this situation, Fernis, had also landed on the beach. To be exact, he had landed the same way as Gazef did and sat on Yu Yan's back after falling down from the field zone with the momentum of two people falling.

Fernis stood up, brushed the sand off his clothes, and glanced at the screaming boy that still had his eyes closed.

"Continue screaming and I will toss you in some lion's cave", Fernis threatened, annoyed by the noise.

Chen WangZhi immediately grabbed his mouth to shut up, even turning his lips inside his mouth to press. Only then did he realize that they were already on the sandy beach.

Glancing at the distant ship that already took a turn to return to the island, Yu Yan said, "The others will eventually jump down, seeing that we landed fine. We should take this time to gather enough survival kits before we go investigate the position of posts."

He scrolled through the map in his terminal.

"Who made you the leader?" Fernis dropped Chen WangZhi to the ground. The latter watched the small conflict with wide eyes.

Yu Yan raised his eyebrow.

"I'm just saying out loud the best plan that's probably already on your mind. Am I wrong?"

Fernis and Yu Yan stared at each other a moment.

"No", Fernis answered.

Gazef suggested to vote for the leader, "It's better to have vote on this role to avoid future conflict."

"No need", Fernis opposed, making Gazef's gaze cool. "No time."

Yu Yan tugged at Gazef's shirt.

With a smile, Yu Yan said, "Alright, then let's exchange numbers to communicate. The instructor said that only team communication is possible in this island."

"It's better to spread out and investigate by pair instead of investigating alone", Gazef studied the map. "Just in case we find a post, one can guard it while the other liaises or guides the other pair to the post. There are two survival kits pointed by the map nearby. It's better to get more while we have the advantage."

"Oh", Yu Yan agreed, while he glanced at Gazef.

So this man could also be reliable. Yu Yan looked away. Well, it's not bad. Maybe he's not as annoying as I thought he'd be.

Too soon, Yu Yan regretted thinking that.
