Reunion?

Aiden POV

Right now, It's day time and we're in a park where Jin tries to concentrate to locate Toa. But, just like last time, no success. 

Jin: Damn it. Nothing. 

Gio: Does that mean you still can't hear Toa's song? 

Jin: I don't understand! I could hear it so well before! Aiden, are you sure your watch doesn't have a way to track Toa?

Aiden: Had it for years. And I never found a function that tracks other beings with alien DNA. It only scans them when there is a DNA sample that it hasn't scanned before. So, no. It doesnt work that way. 

Jin: Alright. Well. I've got an idea. 

Aiden: And now I have a bad feeling...

The next thing we know, we go around from building to building. Asking if they have seen someone named Toa. 

Jin: No leads here either. Damn it...

Aiden: I would say "is this your brilliant plan?", but I don't want to get yelled at...

He looks at me, clearly giving me that "look". 

Aiden: I know that look. We may not know each all that well, but I know that look. So stop it. 

He then looks at a Tea shop, telling us where we're gonna go next.

Jin: There. That one's next. 

Aiden: Hope they have donuts. I want one.

We enter the shop and get greeted by the owner. 

Owner: Hey, come on in guys. Sit anywhere you like. 

Jin: Excuse me. Has a girl named Toa been around here?

Owner: Toa?

Jin: Do you know her?

Owner: No. I'm afraid not. I wish I could help you. 

Jin: That's okay. My apologies for disturbing you. 

Aiden: You guys go on ahead. I want to have a snack. 

Jin: Is that really important right now?

Aiden: Speak for yourself, when's the last time you ate?

Jin: Suit yourself. 

They walk out, but I stay. So I turn to the owner.

Aiden: You got a bathroom? 

Cafe Owner: Yes, it's just over there.

Aiden: Thanks. 

I go and "use" the bathroom. But really, I just had a sneaking suspicion about something, and wanted to see if I was right. So I listen someone walks in the shop. 

Toa: Hi. 

Owner: Welcome back. Thank you so much for doing the shopping for me. 

Toa: No problem. Sorry it took so long. I kinda got lost on the way back. 

Owner: There was a boy who just came in here asking about you. 

Toa: Oh really? I wonder who that could be. 

Owner: I lied to him about you. I hope that's what you wanted. And, his friend in the green jacket just stepped in to use the bathroom. 

Toa: What?

I open the door to the backroom and step out. 

Toa: ...Aiden.

Aiden: Toa.
