Hello and welcome to the chapter where I fix the LORE of the DVAU, mostly because...Dark Vanilla's lore is now a bit fucked up with the Creme Republic update and shit. So I'm fixing the lore of my AU.
Starting with: The Vanilla Kingdom.
The Crimson Kingdom where we're now currently resides on the ground, unlike the Vanilla Kingdom that remains floating, sure it does still have that mechanic, but Dark Vanilla now controls the floating ability manually. However the Crimson Kingdom is NOT the Vanilla Kingdom, not the original anyway. The Crimson Kingdom is located somewhere secluded that is near somewhere that has a large body of ocean. (Which would be the mode of transportation in which the Creme Republic will arrive and join forces with Dark Vanilla after Espresso went mad) so why is it that in the chapters 'The Kingdom's Founding Celebration' they keep referring to it as it's former glory?
I never really said this but, despite the fact the kingdom is NOT the Vanilla Kingdom, it was sorta a replacement. A replica Vanilla Kingdom. Remember what I said? It was not the original anyway...it's not the original Vanilla Kingdom. The original Vanilla Kingdom isn't big enough, to safe house a couple hundred of Cacaoians, Vanillians, Sea-Faring Cookies, Raisin Village and some Cookies that should've existed in Gingerbrave and co's kingdom. Since Gingerbrave's and co's kingdom doesn't exist in this universe (yes no sugar gnomes) The Crimson Kingdom is the only other option other than the multiple houses and places that cookies live in (like Pilgrim's Path) So why did the architectures change in 'The Kingdom's Founding Celebration?' Because it was a replacement Vanilla Kingdom.
Though I always describe the Kingdom as red and you can see that with MOST of the interior designs of the kingdom:
