"WHY, is it SO easy for them to die?"

4 was fuming. They were seeing how Bracelety died, just from being pulled apart! If infected objects died that easily, this whole obstacle was pointless. They checked the list of diseased contestants. 10 out of 38, that's about 26%. Wasn't the number higher?! They ripped the paper apart out of anger, but a machine just printed it out again. Biting their thumb, they tried to think of a solution. How were they going to make the viewers entertained if the main problem wasn't even the main problem? "Why am I here? Where are the others?"

"They're down there, still competing."

4 froze. They turned around to look at Bracelety, who just sat there confused. They needed to know more about this place and struck up a seemingly casual conversation with her.

"Oh, so everyone that got bit was sent there?"

"Uh, yeah? That's what Leafy said. And everyone said that they got bit."

"Hmm, and you said EVERYONE that got bit was there?"
