"Uuwi na ba talaga kayo?"

I asked Kyrith. She nodded and look at Vesper and Rumi. Babalik na sila sa Golden Sierra Academia dahil tapos na ang kaarawan ko.

"Besides, ilang linggo nalang din at matatapos na ang isang buwang bakasyon," sabi niya sa akin.

Nagkibit-balikat ako. "I don't know if I will continue my studies. I need to practice my powers. Sooner or later, I'll take the queen's position."

She sighed. "Mamimiss ka namin, Princess Araia."

I chuckled and pulled her into a tight hug. Napansin din kami nila Rumi kaya lumapit din sila at yumakap sa amin. Narinig ko pa ang boses ni Tatienna at mas lalong humigpit ang yakap!

"Hindi... Na ako.... Makahinga..." Kyrith whispered. We all laughed.

Sa gilid, I saw Priam wearing his casual clothes. Dala-dala na din niya ang kaniyang mga bagahe. He really want to give up serving...

Well, this is for the best.

Lumapit ito sa akin at lumuhod. Agad kong inilagay ang palad ko sa nakayuko niyang ulo.

"You did great for being my servant, Priam, remember that," sabi ko. "This is the end of your duty. I, Araia Zelysteo Devlin, the daughter of sun and moon's successors, will set you free for being the Redvein Crescent's servant. You can now live on your own will."

I can feel my eyes are in burning red. Binawi ko ang aking kamay at pinanood siyang tumayo. His eyes are also in deep red. We both bow to eachother and he turned around.

"See you when I see you, Araia," sabi niya bago umalis. I smiled and nodded.

Yeah, if I can still see you after this.

I watch them as they went outside the castle with a heavy heart. I want them to stay, but maybe I really can't force someone to stay just like that.

Last night, the party went smoothly. My mother and father manage to entertain Aldridge's parents. Wala namang kaso sa kanila kung ako ang mapapakasalan ni Aldridge.

We didn't even talk about marriage, me and Aldridge. It's not like I don't want him to be my husband. He's perfect, everyone wants him. But somehow, my soul isn't satisfied when I'm with him.

I can pretend I love him, maybe my pretending can be true one day. Maybe I'll woke up and Aldridge is someone I think about.

Nandito na tayo, may magagawa pa ba ako?

Just then, someone hug me from behind. His familiar scent lingers around. I slowly smiled and closed my eyes to feel the embrace.

"Looks like my queen is sad," sabi niya. "What's the matter?"

Marahan akong umiling. "Hindi ba't sinabi mong aalis ka matapos ang kaarawan ko?"

"Too early, maybe later or mamayang gabi," sabi niya at hinalikan ang likod ng tenga ko. "You're pushing me away, is there any problem?"

As much as I want to tell Aldridge about my feelings, I can't. Everyone knows about Aldridge and I's marriage. Kung sasabihin kong minsan na naguguluhan ako sa nararamdaman ko, baka mas lalong magkasira pa kami.

I'll keep it to myself so we're at peace.

"Nothing, I'm just exhausted because of the party last night," sabi ko at humarap sa kaniya. "Let's go to my room? I want to rest for a while."

I saw him nodded. Sabay kaming pumunta sa silid ko at agad akong bumagsak sa higaan. Naramdaman kong sumunod ito sa akin at ipinulupot ang braso sa katawan ko.
