She's Back

ARAIA

"Movie, kuya!"

After Rael wash the dishes, the three of us sat down on their sofa. Symon is picking the movie that Rael requested.

"Here."

Symon played the movie and turn off the lights. I don't mind after all.

It started in a house and there's a creepy jump scares but it doesn't scare me at all. Itong dalawa naman ang panay tili sa tuwing magpapakita ang babae, maybe this is what they called a ghost?

"Shit," I heard Symon cussed. "Alam namang namang may naninirahan na impakta d'yan sa bahay, 'yan pa inupahan."

"Ingay mo," Rael commented. "Director ka ba—AHH SHIT!"

Both of them screamed as they grab my arms to hid themselves. I just look at the TV screen without any reactions at all. Anong nakakatakot sa pagsulpot ng babae bigla? I don't get these two.

Well, maybe my mind is out of nowhere.

I look up to the picture frame above their television. It's the picture frame I saw awhile ago. I still can't take my eyes with their dad. I know I'm not attracted—and ew. But there's something off with their parents.

Something that can fit to the missing piece I'm seeking here on human world.

I mentally shrugged my shoulders. Maybe I'm just overthinking. I'm just communicating with them so I can slowly learn about how things works here.

Well, I can hang out with Catalia and Cloei but I know they're doubting me from the start—specially Catalia. I know, even if I didn't read her mind, she's wondering why am I wearing a cloak that day. I can't reveal that easily.

Also, the old woman. I still remember how she stared at me like she knew me for so long. 'Yung matandang babaeng naninirahan noon sa bahay ko. Is she connected to something?

"Tanga nasa likod mo!" Rael shouted as he picked up the pizza.

Symon stood up and went to the kitchen. Beer? As I can remember, ito ang alak na sinasabi nila. Naalala ko ding nakasulat ito sa libro. The effects are you can feel dizzy and lost out of control. It can put your guard down and be vulnerable.

"Beer, Araia?" Yaya ni Symon. Rael was about to get a beer when Symon move it further away. "Bawal ka, minor."

"Porqué kaka-eighteen mo lang ngayon?" Rael fired but Symon just laughed. I took it but I didn't drink it. Maybe later.

We continue watching the film until the two get bored in screaming. Well, wala akong naiintindihan sa pinapanood namin dahil napakaingay nila.

"What if we play..." Symon paused. "Sagot o lagot?"

"Tell me kuya," Rael butt in. "Sinong vlogger ang napanood mo na gan'yan nag content?"

Symon rolled his eyes. "It's just a suggestion, Rael."

Before Rael said anything, I stepped in. "So what's the mechanics?" I asked as I take a gulp of a beer.

"Well, we're going to exchange questions," paliwanag ni Sy. "Then, kapag ayaw mong sagutin ang tanong, you need to face the consequences."

"And what's the consequences you're talking about?" I asked again. Well, I'm curious, as long as it can't expose my identity, I'm fine.
