It was an average day at the apartment building. Sun was shining, flowers were blooming, and a monster was trying to destroy the area out heroes lived in. A common Tuesday. Linc was checking the mailbox while the other tenets were fighting the monster.
Linc: Bill, bill, bill, a restraining order against George, bill, bill. Oh hey, a letter from mom.
Mia suddenly came sliding back from the fight.
Mia: Hey, I ordered something for training, did it come in?
Linc looked into the mailbox but didn't see anything else. So he responded with a simple head shake.
Mia: Damn! Oh well, I can wait.
Elias: Mia! Get over here! I can only hold its arms by myself for so long!
Mia: Coming!
Linc walked up the stairs to his apartment floor and entered, where Eva was eating, Drew was watching TV, and George was making some Coffee. Jason walked into the open floor room and let out a long yawn.
Jason: Uggghhh... I need to feel something... George! Say something that will piss me off.
George: Kamen Rider KIVA is a mess of botched concepts, filled with characters that range from wildly inconsistent to utterly wasted, and is a 2 out of 5 at best.
Jason: Yep, that'll do it.
Linc walked over to the couch as Jason chased George with his sword. Eva noticed the letter in his hand.
Eva: What'cha got there?
Linc: A letter from my mom.
George runs by and snatches the letter, tearing it open.
Jason: Do you have no care for someone else's privacy!?
George: How long have you known me?
Jason: Good point!
Jason threw his sword at George, only for him to freeze it in an ice block. When George thought he was safe, Linc kicked him in the ass, sending him flying toward Eva, who smacked him away like a fly and took the letter back.
Linc: (reads the letter) Oh... It's just a reminder of the family reunion coming up.
Jason: You going to go?
Linc: You four are more chaotic than any monster I can think of.
George: (stands up) Pretty small list then, huh?
Linc: Do you want to visit Pluto?
George raised his hands defensively.
Linc: Besides, I left Royal Woods without a word. Doubt anyone would really remember me. Or even want to remember me, I wasn't exactly a popular kid.
George: So not much has changed, huh?
Linc: Who wants to hit him?
Jason: I CALL DIBS!!!
Jason drop-kicked George, only to reveal it was an ice clone. George revealed himself, still in the kitchen, drinking some coffee.
Linc: So I doubt I'll go. I need to make sure you four don't destroy the apartment.
Eva: Oh come on, we're not that bad.
Linc: I came back from the laundromat to find you trying to suplex the couch because George bet that you couldn't.
George: And she didn't so I won.
Eva: Only because Linc stopped me!
Drew: What if you just take us with you? Then you'll have nothing to worry about.
