Y/n is a strange girl that came to Berk with her family at the age of five. She was always seen in the forest, dreaming of adventuring to the edge of the world. Hiccup was the Chief's s...
"So, how are things here?" Hiccup asks with some hesitation.
"They've been...better," Stoick replies with equal hesitation, both know it's a sore subject.
"Yeah, about that. Uh, listen, Dad..."
"We can discuss it later, Son," Stoick tells him, placing an arm around his shoulders, "Always remember, the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few." Stoick reminds him, Hiccup smiles nervously while looking up at him.
"Yeah. Got it. Loud and clear."
"Now, go enjoy yourselves. A party like this happens only once in 400 years." Stoick tells us all, stepping away to continue preparations. Once out of earshot Hiccup sighs heavily while the trio of chaos watch.
"That's it? What a rip-off!" Snotlout complains, storming off to go find his father.
"Okay, you heard the man." Tuff then starts, getting ready for the party.
"The party is on!" Ruff shouts.
"Yeah! On and going!" Tuff finishes as the rest of the riders head into the village. Meanwhile, you stay back and stand next to Hiccup.
"Aren't you gonna tell him about the bounty?" You ask, already knowing the answer.
"No. I'm not. He has enough to deal with right now." Hiccup answers, making you sigh before deciding to distract him.
"Come on then, we have a show to prepare!" You declare while grabbing his hand, dragging him through the village, running while Hiccup smiles.

"Heather! Where's your face paint?" You ask and she smiles nervously.
"Oh, it's okay I don't--"
"--Yes, you do!" Astrid interjects, grabbing you and walking over to Heather, taking purple and yellow face paint.
"Y/n, Astrid, is the really--"
"Yes." You both answer, not allowing her to finish as you both start working on her face paint. You were working on the left with yellow, and Astrid was working on the right with purple.

Small kids parade through the village with small flags, everyone cheering as Gobber stands on the trunk of a cut-down tree. The Blacksmith had green and blue face paint strips going vertically down his face.
