Keefe and I had finally convinced Elwin to team up with us.
Yes, it had taken some acting, and way too much blushing on my part, but we did it.
"Okay, let's come up with a team name!" Keefe said.
"Do we really need a team name?" I asked.
But was that even a question with Keefe?
"Of course we need a team name, Foster! And I've also got the perfect one!" Keefe said. "Drum roll, please!"
He started drumming on the nearest surface.
"Aaaand, pause for dramatic effect!" He said as he stopped drumming. "Team Foster-Keefe-and-oh-there's-Elwin-too!"
I had to stop myself from laughing.
"Oh, wow." I said, wiping tears from my eyes.
"See, I told you it was perfect!" Keefe said with a smile.
A smile that made my heart flutter.
No.
I already told myself that I liked Fitz, didn't I?
"I feel like I'm not getting enough credit here." Elwin complained.
"Well, it's already decided. So there's not much you can do about it. Team Foster-Keefe-and-oh-there's-Elwin-too is officially a thing!" Keefe said.
"Oh brother." Elwin said.
"Well, let's start planning! So who's first? Cadence? Galvin? Bronte? Leto?"
"Hmm . . . How about Lady Galvin?" I said.
"Great choice Foster. Now we just need to choose what we're gonna do to her." Keefe said with a mischievous glint in his eyes.
"How about we blow up her cape again?" I suggested.
"Ooh yeah! Now let's add more!"
"More? Don't you think that's enough?" Elwin said.
"Nope. You can never have enough pranking!" Keefe said enthusiastically.
Aww.
He looks so cute like that!

I think Keefe could feel my emotions change, because he looked over at me and smirked.
"Got something you're hiding, Foster?"
My face suddenly went nuclear.
I like Fitz!
I didn't like Keefe!
Did I?
AAHHH! I can't take this anymore!
I ran out of the healing center.
"Wait, Foster! Where are you going?" Keefe shouted behind me.
But I didn't look back.
I just needed a minute.
