As soon as the announcements were over, everyone looked to Keefe for a plan.
But something was wrong.
It always was with Hunkyhair.
I quickly reviewed the rules in my head:
-nothing too extreme
Okay, looks like Keefe's breaking that one.
-no leaving school property.
Keefe always carries around pranking supplies, so he doesn't need to break that one.
-no cross teaming.
I don't know any mentors that would want to team up with Keefe.
Now what was the last one?
-no pranking other students.
Oh.
Oh no.
Just then Keefe said, "I'm only teaming up with one person."
I'm not proud of what I did.
But I knew Keefe was gonna break that last rule.
And I really didn't want to get pranked.
"Me!!"
I realized I wasn't the only one who shouted.
Our whole friend group must've had the same idea.
"So, who will it be, Hunkyhair?" I asked.
"Okay, I know who it's not gonna be, Bangs Boy." he replied with a smirk.
Crap.
I knew it.
Of course he wouldn't pick me.
Well then who would he pick?
"Hmm . . let's see . ." Keefe said, while pretending to be deep in thought.
Man, he can be so annoying sometimes.
Keefe looked like he just got an idea.
"I know, I'll pick Foster, because I know she can't go a second without being near me."
Ah.
Of course.
Of course he would pick Sophie.
How could Fitz and Dex not see that he liked her?
