Your POV

I heard everything....and to be honest I don't blame him, I mean his parents were married for 15+ years and here I come and ruin everything

I should have known better, ever since I've stepped foot into this family, there's been nothing but hate and resentment towards me from Luke...maybe it's a sign, maybe I shouldn't get married to Andrew because family is way important than marrying your side chick, who might I add is almost tearing the family apart

"Please don't tell me you heard everything" Andrew asked as he walked towards me, I nodded slightly blinking a few tears away

"*sigh* it's going to get better honey I-"

"No it's not going to get better, stop saying it would....i have been in your life for the past 6 years and nothing has gotten better nothing" I replied interrupting him mid sentence

"I know his a bit of work but it doesn't mean-"

"Maybe we rushed into this....maybe this was a big mistake" I mumbled closing my eyes

"What do you mean....this is not your fault, just wait and see" he replied his voice cracking at the end

"I'm tired of waiting Andrew, my mother rised me better than becoming a home wrecker which I already am" I whispered, looking down I grabbed his hands and caressed them softly "but I'll be damned if I become the problem between you and your children....so"

"W-what are you saying" Andrew whispered his voice unsteady

"We're calling the wedding off" I replied

"No no, you can't we've been through so much and now your throwing it all away" he asked his eyebrows furrowing in confusion

"If it brings you and your son back together again" I simply said, slowly removing the ring and placing it in his hands "take good care of him Andrew, his hurt beyond belief"

I grabbed my jacket and keys and walked towards the main door

"Someone will be here tomorrow to pick up my things" I said opening the door and leaving, not daring to look back

4 Years Later

His POV

It's been 4 years since the break up and I've never seen dad...so broken

It's almost my 21st birthday and nothing has changed

His been mopping around, mumbling to himself and just looking plain lifeless

"Hey dad, I'm going to the store do you want anything" I asked walking in the kitchen

"Huh...uh yeah sure" he replied snapping out of his daily gazing of Y/N's picture

I sighed this has been going for too long, maybe what they did have was special because I haven't seen my dad so depressed in my life...even and I hate to say this but even when my parents got a divorce he wasn't that sad

Getting into my car I drove to Walmart,wonder how she's doing

Your POV

I walked into Walmart with a lot on my mind

After four years...i still love him and I miss him, but I will not be the girl that tore the family part....its against my upbringing

I walked towards the frozen food section which is where I saw the familiar blond hair, my eyes widened

"Oh shit....don't turn don't turn" I whispered to myself as I tiptoed around him....his back facing me

"I've been up all night
Trying pay them bills
I've been work work work
Working on my shit" my phone rang as I cringed my face in horror as he turned around

His POV

"Y/N" I said my eyes widening "it's been so long"

I walked up to her and gave her a hug...a long one too

"Uh it's nice to see you t-"

"You haven't to come back" I said cutting her off and getting to the point

"Come where" she asked furrowing her eyebrows I'm confusion

"Come back to dad...he really loves you a-"

"Luke..i can't" she interrupted smiling sadly

"Look I know I haven't been the easiest on you....and it's only because I didn't see how much love that you guys carried for each other....i mean my dad's a mess...and to be honest he wasn't that sad when him and mom got a divorce....he really loves you Y/N" I replied trying my best to get her to come back

"*sigh* believe me when I say I would love to go back but....i can't I really love your father and he'll always have a place in my heart but"

"But what..." I asked curiously

"Mama mama look what daddy got me" I heard a tiny voice call as a little boy comes up running towards Y/N, followed by a man whom I'm assuming is the father

"Y/N who's this" the man asked slithering his dark arm around her waist showing the gold wedding band on his hand

"Just an old friend..." she replied looking at him and kissing his cheek

"Alright...Noah and i will be checking out the groceries...we'll meet you in the car" he replied kissing Y/N then picking up the boy and walking off

She turns around to face me and places her hand on my cheek

"Take care of him Luke...and take care of yourself"she said kissing my cheek than walking off

Turning around I watch her leave Walmart with her new family..already knowing it was too late
