Unexpected

Who am i?

we signed the papers 10 minutes ago, and now we're getting ready to leave the hospital. "wait?" Lionel stopped me right when i was about to get in the driver seat.

"what?" i answered back "your driving?" Lionel said "yeah, i have to" i said back "but that's my favorite car, maybe i should drive?" Lionel said

"no you can not, your in bad condition, so i'm gonna be driving" i answered him back "just please don't crash" Lionel said

"Lionel, i know how drive" i giggled a little "ok, i'm trusting you" Lionel said now entering the car "i will definitely crash if you keep complaining though" i said "maybe you should now let me drive" i cut Lionel off "i'm kidding" i laughed a little

Lionel has never seen me drive before, so probably that's why he seems a little scared. i started the engine, and Lionel was already worried for no reason "Lionel, i just started the engine, calm down" i said

"i am calmed, what do you mean?" Lionel said. i giggled. i put my seat belt on and reversed. once i was on the road, Lionel was looking down at all times "hey?" i said

"yeah?" LIonel said back "i won't crash... do you trust me?" i said. he stayed quiet for a while "of course i do" he said "then calm down. how about we play some songs" i said

"stop treating me like that" Lionel said "Like what?" i answered back "Like i'm so sensitive, i'm a mafia guy, and i know what pain feels like" Lionel said

"i'm not treating you like this because i think your sensitive, i'm treating you like this because your too important to me, i can't lose you again, how i almost did last time. it broke my heart... it to a million pieces" i said

"hey, i promise that will never happen again" lionel said now grabbing my thigh, in a cute way "your a mafia leader though, your supposed to be in danger, mostly now because of me" i said still looking at the road ahead

"i would've never went to go find you if i didn't care. but did i find you?" he said. i stayed quiet for a while "yes" i finally answered back "then don't think all of this is for nothing, i'm doing it to protect you" Lionel said

"and i always thought you were jerk" i laughed a little "i was in the past, but then i met you, and you changed me" Lionel said "i didn't change you, you somehow learned that you can be someone better, not just a mafia who hurts people. but i don't know why you do that, it's your job, and you know what your doing" i said

it stayed quiet the whole time.

*Marcus's POV*

i messed up badly, if Elaina ever finds out that i broke Lilith's heart, she'd kill me. "fuck" i said to myself.

while i was panicking here, i heard a car and the garage open. "shit, there here" i have no clue what excuse i'm gonna give them on why Lilith ain't here.

"were back!" i heard Elaina say "oh hey guys" i said back "where's Lilith?" Elaina said "oh, umm, i think she's at the store, i think she wanted to get Lionel something" i said back "oh... well that's nice of her" Elaina said

"ya, i think i should go pick her up" i said "ok, we will be waiting right here" Elaina said "also i'm glad your doing great man" i told Lionel "oh, thanks" Lionel said back

and off i went to go look for Lilith. oh shit, that was a really close one. i sighed and entered the car to go look for Lilith.

"please don't do anything stupid" i whispered to myself

*Lilith's POV*

i was walking alone on the side walks, trying to find a cab, but suddenly a black car stopped in front of me.

the person rolled down it's window, and it was a girl. "do you need a ride" the girl said "umm, no thanks, i think i'm fine walking by myself, but thank you anyways" i smiled at her "oh come on, i need a little bit a company" the girl said

i stayed quiet not knowing if i should ride with a total stranger, or just go back home "yeah, sure why not?" i answered the girl back

i entered the car and off she went "why did you decide to suddenly come to stop to just give a total stranger a ride?" i told the girl "well i wanted to get away of some work, and well i saw you walking alone, and I thought you needed some peace too" the girl said

"not bad at guessing" i laughed a little "what's your name by the way?" i said "oh, my name is Isabella, how about you?" "oh, my name is Lilith"

"nice to meet you Lilith" "so, where do you work exactly?" i said "oh, my job is very difficult, i work as a detective, well that's what i call it" isabella said "why do you say that?" i said "well i basically try to find people who hurt the people i love. not really a job, but i want revenge i guess" isabella said

"i think the bad guy's should deserve something like that, i wish i could do that, but my... boy-... brother won't let me go out into the danger" i was about to say boyfriend, which referred to Marcus, but i don't even think were a thing anymore

"hey!, what if you come to the place where i work with others, where they help me find the bad guys" isabella said "wait really?" i said back

"yes, they would love you, and plus, you get payed a lot. thousands of money, but just don't ask what type of job it is, only because i want you to just blend in with the others" isabella said

"i would love to, only because i want to get away from my... brother" i said "ok, well i'm heading over there right now, so why don't you give it a shot" isabella said. "ok!" i was really happy because i finally get to something i've actually always wanted to do

this might be my opportunity to finally figure out who i am. maybe it might be just like a detective.

this is the best thing ever!
