Mistake

sometimes i imagine myself waking up next to my wife and my little kid. but i know that will never happen. i grew up living in the mafia, hating both my dad and brother.

my mother was always there for me, and told me that one day i'll grow up living with my wife and kid. but i didn't want that, the reason why is because i didn't want her and my child to be in danger, like my father put his family in danger.

i'm not him... i'm not my father....

i woke up to the sun hitting my face "ugh" i groaned "Lionel? you're awake!, i'll call a doctor to come and check you, and see if everything's alright" Elaina said

i didn't say anything since i was till too weak. come on Lionel, your stronger than this.

i sighed, i fucking love her, i would never do anything like that with any girl. Elaina is different, what the fuck is she doing to me. she's changing me and i don't know if i like it or not. it feels good, but if my father ever finds out that i changed for someone, or i finally have feelings for someone he will kill that person for sure.

Elaina came back "hey" she said smiling "hi" i said back, with a little bit of pain "the doctor will be here soon, just hang tight" Elaina was gonna get up to go check where the doctor was, but i stopped her, by grabbing her hand

"wait" i said "what's wrong?" i need to ask her the question, or if not i would never have the chance "Elaina" i said "yes" she said back

i felt tears forming, what the fuck, i usually never cry "don't leave me" i said "Lionel i would never leave you, after what you did for me back there and after all the other days of you saving me, i would never leave. i know i was kinda of a bitch to you, and left you to go with Oliver, but you changed me, and i don't know if i like it or not" she said back

"i want you to be mine" i finally spoke "wait what?" Elaina looked a bit surprised "will you be mine?" Elaina looked speechless by the words i said, i know i said i would never put someone i like in danger, but she's different and i know i end up sacrificing myself again for this women.

"i- i don't what to say, i mean yes i want to be yours but are you sure you want this?, are you not lying to me, because if you are i would never talk to you again-" i grabbed her face and pulled her towards me and gave her a kiss. she enjoyed it as much as i did

we pulled away "so does that mean your telling the truth?" Elaina said "yes" i said. as soon we were gonna kiss again the doctor walked in. "your Lionel Hernandez right"  "yes, yes i am" I said

the doctor then came up to me and started to check if i was injured or not "you seem to be fine Mr Hernandez, you may leave when you want to" i looked at Elaina and then to the doctor "thanks doc"

"your welcome, all i need from you is for to sign some papers, and then your free to go" the doctor said "cool, thanks" i said

*Marcus's POV*

we were back at the house since Elaina went and took Lionel to the hospital. we wanted to go so badly since he was my best friend, i needed to make sure he was okay.

me and Lilith were in bed since it was still 5 am of the morning. Lilith was still asleep but i couldn't sleep, what if he's not okay. i'm just so worried about him.

you know what, i'm not gonna just sit here and wait for a response. i'm gonna get up and go to the hospital. wait but what hospital did they go to? "fuck" i said to myself

i sighed and got my phone. i jumped out of bed that i even woke up Lilith "what the fuck?! Marcus, you scared the living shit out of me!" Lilith said all scared "i'm sorry, but i just got a message from Elaina saying that Lionel is awake and there coming back home in like an hour or two.!" i said all happy and relieved
